The Leviathan DLC and the EC DLC proves this theory wrong. Its Bioware trying to further explain the ending..
If the ending never existed why would it keep shelling out content to flesh out the ending? LMFAO you guys are the saddest bunch of geeks I ever seen.
And yep I said geeks. Finishing the Leviathan DLC made me content with the ending now....if they change it to the IT stuff, they are stupid.

No spoilers ahead, at least nothing you will get anything from.
So first thingd first. It was shorter than I expected, though i stil clocked in at roughly 3 hours on Insanity, a fine time if you ask me.
No this is not a big IT piece, though there some recurring themes which support IT which are brought up again. Cerberus is up to their old tricks with everything that includes of Control and Synthesis. Aria´s dialogue also makes her kinda opposed to Control, I say kinda cause she still is very much in control herself...though you will have to see for that.
Aria and especially Nyreen are great. Aria is her usual self, no suprises while Nyreen...god I wish she was explored more. So want her to be full party member as well as LI (I really dig the female Turian look, dont know quite why, but removing those spike things, ridges I think people called them, really amde me love the design). Though for obvius reason to anyone who plays the DLC why Nyreen wont be a party member afterwards...
Petroysky is interesting...at the same time a man with a code of honor, but I also really wanted to shoot him at the end...again for reasons I wont spoil. His best scene is without doubt an incredibly tense scene at a Reactor, really a standout moment of the DLC.
As for Omega itself there is a alot of fighting in the DLC though not as much as I had expected reading other peoples comments. I think what the DLC does best is show the scope and size of Omega with some truly grand visuals. I got the "alternate Citadel" vibe this time around which i did not last time.
All in all I give it a 7/10. Could have been more Lore heavy with more secrets of Omega explored, but i would say that what the DLC does it does really well with some pretty visuals.

Even someone with tourettes can resist typing offensive things.
This is more a perfect example of why we bring our children up correctly, and don't let them use the internet without supervision.

I'm starting to get a really bad feeling about Omega...
Omega is a pretty bland and boring DLC. Good pew-pew parts. That's about it. A lot of pew-pew, no background story, no awesome plot reveals, no plot-twists, nothing important in the grand scheme of things. The theme of the DLC is taking back Omega and that is exactly what you do. It's all there is to it. You take back Omega and you're done. That's it.

Main upset for me so far is that there aren't many datapads laying around for me to read. And that Cerberus VI that repeats a few slogans, but only if you turn it on and off repeatedly.
I want more lore, dammit!

Well this is certainly not the DLC for that, but going into it knowing that i think I was able to enjoy it for what it was.

I like how he thinks getting around a perma-ban and back to trolling us will be as simple as just using a proxy.

Nyrene: Creatures created by Cerberus. They eviscerate their victim's DNA, converting them into more Adjutants.
Aria: Some kind of Reaper based weapon. I fought them before; they're a nightmare.
Nyrene: It got worse after you left. Cerberus lost control of them. Those things tore apart the gangs, then attacked everyone in sight. If Cerberus hadn't found a way to contain them, the entire station would have been infected by now.
Shepard: Keeping your people alive through that couldn't have been easy.
Nyrene: I watched friends get turned into monsters, and I had to kill them. Now if you'll excuse me, I have an outpost to defend.
Aria: The Adjutants really got under her skin.

I actually hated Nyreen to be honest. I found her an annoying pain in the ass. She was nothing but an annoying goody-two-shoes in my eyes. But maybe that's because I'm a Renegade and sided with Aria the whole time. Aria is as cool as she ever was. I really like her.
Well I am a goody two shoes myself, so no suprise I drew close to Nyreen. She reminded me of Garrus unsuprisingly as there are quite a few comparisions, but her constant "bickering while obviusly caring" dialogue with Aria I really liked and it was nice to see someone who dident just spit in the face of the Reaper abominations and instead showed outright fear even if there was not alot of situations to delve into it.

I liked Nyreen because she was fighting for the people of Omega, for the correct reasons. Aria was just fighting because TIM stole her toys and she wanted them back.

Yeah, though I liked Aria's point abot how she may control Omega, but she let people have their freedom. Off course she is not above using said people to take back Omega.
Though dont tell me you werent the least bit tempted to hit the Interupt during the Reactor scene. I know I was.

7/10 from me as well.
And yeah, you said it all pretty well.
-Aria, in the end, sees herself as more of a facilitator of freedom. She keeps going on about how Omega's citizens can do whatever they want, unless they cross her. Then she'll do whatever she wants
And Omega itself is an example of support for Control (look at this lawless city!)... until now. Now, we see what truly ruthless Control does to a population.
And Aria can now, with this DLC's story, see it as well, if you go Paragon. "We are Omega" indeed. Not that I think the place will be a Utopia, but I'm inclined to think she'll be a more benevolent queen under Shepard's/Nyreen's Paragon influences.
-Nyreen needed about... one more big mission worth of solid character development for me to care about _____
Great potential, squandered, imo.
-Petrosky is squandered too. He could have had something, ANY ONE THING to say in the last mission that could have rocked the DLC. Just say anything important! Instead, the scene played out very predictably
-However, his scene with Shepard you talked about... that scene might be replayed over and over by ITers

I pressed that button without a doubt. I saw a couple of people dying. That's it. Not much interesting happens.
What happens if you don't press that button?
