Was the Ending a Hallucination? - Indoctrination Theory Mark III!

And a lot of those cutscenes felt unfinished. Like the cheering crowds, who were completely silent, and Aria warping all over the place. Really glitchy.
Combat was decent, if a bit easy for the most part. Only real trouble I got was from all the grenades being thrown around.
The Adjutants were unsettling, but completely hopeless when it came to actual fighting. The Rampart Mechs were decent enough, but I was expecting Dragoons honestly.
No Collectors at all, despite mention of a lab 'beyond the Omega 4 Relay' - which must almost certainly be a Collector test facility of some kind.
Worst thing of all though. The mission felt completely isolated from the rest of the game. Not a single mention of it after the mission ends, no crew ask you about it, no debriefing from Hackett, nothing.
And those secrets Omega contains, that Aria talks about so much? Not even hinted at.
So eh. Last time I buy DLC without some seriously glowing recommendations. It wasn't bad, just felt a bit pointless ultimately.

I don't believe the Omega-4 relay was even shown, and I'm certain it wasn't even mentioned.
It was mentioned as the source for the burning shields technology. I believe it's Aria who says they found it beyond the Omega 4 Relay. I immediately tried to remember if something like this was in the CB in ME2 but got nothing.

I wonder if Shepard even bothered telling her crew about it.
"Where were you today, Shepard?"
"Nowhere."

Tactics
These mechs are extremely similar to the Dragoons found in Multiplayer, and should be treated as such. Note that tech abilities like Overload will have a more profound effect since they are synthetic.
They are so little like Dragoons its not even funny. They behave more like Geth Hunters, only a little tougher and with no cloaking.

It's like they spawn, activate their shield, walk closer, die from bluesplosion.

I can't speak for everyone but it is by far not worth 15 bucks. Leviathan DLC was waaaaaaaaay better- it had no dissapointment like I experienced in Omega.Fur28 wrote...

Honestly? Not worth $15. Maybe half that.
And its 90% action, 9% story that has no impact on the main story, and 1% interesting datapads and video logs.

Even if you have a vastly superior force (Cerberus and the fleet it magically aquired, Collector technology repurposed for containment, etc) trying to control an essentially lawless population will result in rebellion and unrest.
Reapply that notion to the Reapers being commanded by ReaperShep trying to maintain control over the chaos of Organic life, and you can see a potential problem there. It doesn't matter how valid you think your reasons for controlling a population is, if you take away their freedom they will fight back. Which would result in a huge deathtoll.
Of course, some might say that Control isn't about controlling Organics but the Reapers. But then listen to what ReaperShep says, its clear they are going to be used to 'protect' people and 'maintain order'.

No, we're discussing what we can take from Omega and apply to IT. Stop being so anti towards everything, seriously.

This pointing out different aspects of the DLC circles around the idea of indoctrination theory in the Omega, which we unfortunately cannot find
