I've heard people say the Batarian preacher says some possibly IT related stuff. Anyone got quotes from him? I didnt bother sticking around and listening to a Batarian talk. Figured he'd just tell me how much I sucked like he did last time.

Here's hoping. EXMEFan went on way longer than he should have been allowed to.

The only thing I ultimately got from Omega is reinforcement that Control is a bad thing.
Even if you have a vastly superior force (Cerberus and the fleet it magically aquired, Collector technology repurposed for containment, etc) trying to control an essentially lawless population will result in rebellion and unrest.
Reapply that notion to the Reapers being commanded by ReaperShep trying to maintain control over the chaos of Organic life, and you can see a potential problem there. It doesn't matter how valid you think your reasons for controlling a population is, if you take away their freedom they will fight back. Which would result in a huge deathtoll.
Of course, some might say that Control isn't about controlling Organics but the Reapers. But then listen to what ReaperShep says, its clear they are going to be used to 'protect' people and 'maintain order'.
Interesting, I made a similar argument for why the Catalyst could've decided at some point to destroy both organics and synthetics and not just synthetics.

Too late to check the actual quotes, but I got some keywords: fire, burning, blazing glory through the galaxy.
Nyreen is the one who speaks of hearing whispers. She had couple other interesting quotes as well.

"I do not look forward to being replaced by you but, I would be forced to accept it."
Cerberus tried to force their rule unto Omega, and groups like the Talon's resisted. And we know Reapers think themselves to be individuals; i.e the usage of "I". How do we know the Reapers would accept this?

Hello people. Did it ever accrue to any of you to play events after you took Omega, up until the end. I mean maybe Omega came with something else, and hows the files in Omega? I can't get it yet because I am not allowed to play games during school days.
Dataminers found nothing IIRC.

That's up to Bill. He found it first, and he can do it again. Also why out of all the people they bring back in Omega it had to be him. Maybe Bioware is saying. listen to this Batarian he knows the hidden truth.

I just realized my biggest disappointment with Omega was that there was no Aria = Aleena reveal.
I was totally expecting that.
I don't know why so many people think that. Wrex said Aleena was a softie. If I had to use 950 words to describe Aria, that still wouldn't be one of them.

To Wrex, everyone is a softie. She uses the same "Better luck next time" phrase Aleena used, and she says sometimes she'd rather disappear than be forced to kill someone she cares about. She also says Patriarch isnt the first krogan she's pissed off.

I liked it that nothing in the DLC pointed at Reaper influence in Omegas construction.
I dont. At least then it would have helped explain why Cerberus went to such lengths to take over the station.
