Huh that's interesting everyone. The PC dlc is 1.763.48 gb big. That means they installed the rest to PC from something else. I saw the Xbox size was 1.99gb

Huh, that's interesting.  Maybe they cut stuff out that would otherwise be datamined....

Edit: If this is the case, then someone better figure out how to datamine a XBox 360.

Not that hard as you can basically just hook the hdd on a pc. Same way the leak was mined.

bet the common mining was via pc

BTW, not about Omega, but interesting.

Piares.
Piares is named for an ancient asari goddess of death, who was not seen as a malefic figure, but as one who guided asari spirits on their final journey. From her home in the stars, she could grant an asari who had lost a lover the ability to restore them to life in another body.

Well, if they planned on planting files into DLC's that would be activated in later DLC's just so it could meet the size requirement, it would have to bee added eventually. Unless they disguised the names of the files of course:wizard:!

Woo. Just finished Omega. My ears perked up at the adjutants being a "nightmare" and "Wake up, Nyreen!" and "So be it" and the comment about the whispering. And I know there was other little IT flavor packets in there somewhere, but it's been a long 3 hours.

It definitely had its strong parts, but it could have used a few more days in the writing room. However, I think my DL was glitched because it ended with NO MUSIC (or is there not any music at the end?) and it felt so anticlimactic. And for being an action DLC, the action was... really easy. I played it on insanity and I'm getting used to a new mouse right now and it was a breeze.

I agree, it fully killed the end of Leviathan and Omega, as well as London. What's with Bioware and not having ending music?

I liked it that nothing in the DLC pointed at Reaper influence in Omegas construction.

I dont. At least then it would have helped explain why Cerberus went to such lengths to take over the station.

Eezo mines level looking or at least reminding me a lot of the Derelict Reaper.

I have to play it again, but it looked like MAYBE they extract eezo from what could be a 'leak' of the middle of Omega?

Would make sense if the eezo 'battery' area of an old Crucible leaked it into the rocks that eventually collect around the Crucible.

So nothing overtly said, but the Omega = Old Crucible idea is not disproven yet.

Kill everything!

And also, not move for 3 hours. Except for when I went weeping to my sister's room because I couldn't decide whether or not to shut down the reactor. Okay, not weeping, but overdramatically soloiquizing about decision making and morals and ish. I don't know how she still loves me.

Hm, Leviathan and Omega have no music at their endings, while the game itself does....  Maybe they're trying to signal us that it's not over because there's epic music at the end?

It would be an interesting parallel, but it seems like there were no SFX either... SFX that SHOULD have been there, like people cheering during Aria's speech. It was... eerie.

Kind of reminds me of all the times you see people firing guns during the cinematics on London, but never hear any sounds.

Yeah, the end of Levi was unpolished too. Notice how the two squadmates always have a Predator and Avenger, even if that character can use that class of weapon, while the rest of Leviathan you squadmates used their own guns in all the cutscenes. I had James snipe the Leviathan orb with his Raider and Garrus hip-fire semi-auto half a dozen round from his Mantis in the second mission Posted Image

I want a patch that fixes the SFX and music in the end of Levi and Omega, and in London as much as an IT reveal to be honest.

Or it's just a rich deposit of eezo. Also why would there be rock around it etc? And the vertical structures were created by this cycle while that would be the only resemblance of the Crucible.
And where is that thought about a leak coming from? additionally you can see the tunnels are spreading all over the asteroid, some of them are even in the center.

I really hope there being no music/sound in three separate occasions of the game and DLC's in key moments is not just a bug.

That would be downright stupid.

I enjoyed the Mine level. The Adjutants were actually pretty creepy. I agree Blur, they should have been fleshed out a lot more - their whole "zombie" kind of existence promised a lot, what with turning who they kill into one or something? They were fun to fight, as were the Cerberus robots that attacked us.

The whole linearity of the DLC does not bode well for ME4 if I'm honest. There was no real choice in the DLC and the only returning characters from ME2 being that ****ing Elcor shopkeep and the mental Batarian.

I'm putting all my hopes on Citadel DLC and for it to be soon (very early in the new Year) as the MP is not drawing me into the game anymore.

Going to bed soon, but my last little thought was how much Omega reminded me of a brain when its displayed as a holographic display.

No conclusions to draw from that, just an interesting tidbit.

Nyreen is predictable because she wants to Save Everyone and that makes her easy to manipulate.

This idea is repeated twice.

Hmm...

Edit to Add: And what was with her way out? It's like she knew she was walking to her death instead of waiting for Shep and Aria. And Aria saying "wake up!" to her when the first adjutant showed up... IDK, man. I loved her character, but me thinks... me thinks something.

Do the Adjutants have an insta-kill? I was killing things too fast to notice their abilities.

I didnt even know the robots had those orange shields until my second playthrough.
