Draw your weapons and fight, else certain doom awaits us all!
Let not the lesser races steal our places within the purity!
Obey the Word and repent with fire, oil and guns!

Word=IT

Fire, oil, guns=Destroy

I'm not seeing it.

Word = the mockingly religious nature given to IT

Fire = tubes blowing up on fire in Destroy
Oil = ^ something needs to blow up when the tubes are shot..
Guns = You shoot the tubes

Arrival, Overlord, and Leviathan are my favourite DLCs. LotSB is good, but over-hyped I think. This is coming from a Liara romancer too.

>Arrival better than LotSB
>Liaramancer

Pick one.

I choose both, Arrival's my favourite.

Aria.

Indoctrination.

Hee! Just kidding! But there were a LOT of shoutouts... just the fact that there is now a Reaper brand that WHISPERS IN YOUR HEAD and gets people to self-sacrifice... and "wake up, Nyreen" and predictable=manipulate-able, and "they're a nightmare," and the whole Nyreen/Javik parallel with killing their own friends, and things not "feeling" right, and etc, etc, etc.

The whole thing about Nyreen killing herself because the Reapers demand it is a pure game of thought by someone here with no basis. As Aria told you she was always the one trying to save everyone.

Nah, don't get me wrong, I know it was part of her character arc to sacrifice herself for civillians and that this is ultimately the point of the scene. This is, for me, "a game of thought," not actual "proof" (if such a thing can ever exist in literature) -- thus why I called them "shoutouts" and not "zomg IT proof!" It's still worth noting that Nyreen gets intuitive feelings about everything all the time, though.

And it wouldn't be the Reapers in this case, anyway. It'd be Cerberus.

I think her death was very well done, but my complaint is that she had to die. And Aria couldn't. And I couldn't choose to have Nyreen and the Talons take over.

If I at least has that, I wouldn't really complain about the DLC. The reason is feels like it didn't end is because there was both no twist and no big choice.

Nyreen is predictable because she wants to Save Everyone and that makes her easy to manipulate.

This idea is repeated twice.

Hmm...

Edit to Add: And what was with her way out? It's like she knew she was walking to her death instead of waiting for Shep and Aria. And Aria saying "wake up!" to her when the first adjutant showed up... IDK, man. I loved her character, but me thinks... me thinks something.

Update: After reading this, I like Omega now.

It was that interesting.

Omega is an IT DLC now, hehe.

(You think Nyreen was just starting to be indoctrinated?)

If given the choice I'd get rid of her, but it's more that I dislike her on principle rather than as a person.

I knew you guys wouldn't let me down. I was trying to prod this stuff on you all earlier today, but I guess not enough of you beat the DLC yet.

You stay until morning and sneak around the university looking for secret stuff.

I never said it should prove IT or not, I said there is no proof that indoctrination is causing her to sacrifice her, as it's her character anyway, way before the Adjutants.
The fear, feelings, and voices are noteworthy, and I agree. The sacrifice, not as much. Also no it's still the Reapers, just that the Reaper control is nullified by the implants in the subjects nervous system.

I'm so sick of doing that. Only one more paper, a group presentation a couple weeks from now, and several tests a couple weeks from now left.

Thank the Reap-wait?
