Was the Ending a Hallucination? - Indoctrination Theory Mark III!

Oh and speaking of genetic material. The problem that I have with what the brat says is " we preserve them in Reaper form..." When I saw that Colonist chick get turned into genetic material I knew she was dead the momunt her flesh was turned into genetic material.
I was in shock that if that's what happence when you become a Reaper. Imagin the little children, and good what EDI says it would take maybe billions of humans to finish just creating 1 Reaper.
That's crazy! Also isn't it funny that the brat is not even consered about his creators being alive/ fighting.

I can understand some people like LDS, who may have a physical or mental impairment that makes it difficult for them. I respect that.
But anyone else has no excuse. It boils down to pure vitriol against Bioware for an ending that may have insulted your intelligence in a way you may only subconsciously realize after the fact when you tie it together with the context of the games. It also boils down to "contrarianism" (yes I made that word up, it fits), and a sort of hipster approach to something that goes far deeper than skin deep. It's a nihilistic view of material that has never been nihilistic. The untrained mind can't fathom a literary approach to what amounts to a Western visual novel, and so we get what we have on the BSN.
There are people who can disagree, and normally I can respect their views because they may just " see things differently." But anyone who seriously touts " bad writing " has no idea what they are talking about, hasn't examined the story in detail, and perhaps has never even attempted a serious approach to contemplating the meaning of a novel and the meat of it. Oh yes, I've seen " Professors " critiquing the ending (and only the ending, mind you). They did this without context from the greater story, without connecting dots and reading between the lines. I do not take them seriously because they didn't really do the work.
At this point, "bad writing" is nothing more than an empty-headed meme shouted by sheep afraid of peer pressure who are afraid to think for themselves, and afraid to actually venture into the story and think about it. It is a very real denial born of an absence of critical thinking, analytical thought processes, and a sub-conscious inferiority complex.

I don't like Darner Vosque.
Speaking of Vosque, is it ever explained why he leads the Blue Suns even though Vido got away in my playthrough?
Maybe he had more enemies then just Zaeed, and he was offed off-screen.
Though that reminds me, why is the leader of the Blood Pact a Vorcha and not a Krogan?
That does lead me to think that maybe these are only local gang leaders and not the big cheeses.
Its never stated that the leader of any of the merc groups would be of one particular race. The krogan might make up the meat of the Blood Pack forces but theyre definitely far out numbered by vorcha. That and some vorcha do get a chance to become educated. Educated enough perhaps to lead a merc group.
Given the brutal nature of the Blood Pack, leadership probably changes hands pretty frequently. Shepard himself witnesses Blood Pack's leadership change with violence, betrayel, and deception.

Is that... for real? I mean... woah! ORGANIC MATERIAL ON ANOTHER PLANET!!!!
Edit: Wait, I just followed the link to the original announcement. It sounds like they don't know for certain if it's organic or not.

Bad writing is not more or less of a cop-out than the IT is.
Wrong.
Hahahahahaha.
He was supposed to be an annoying idiot who thought he was really awesome.
how TIM was turned into Saren 2.0,
In that he was an indoctrinated pawn of the Reapers? Obviously, that's his natural character progression. Beyond that he is not. Saren was fully aligned with the Reapers and their plans, while TIM still thinks he's fighting the Reapers, but is really being used by them.
how Derperus all of the sudden became the new Sith Empire
See above, and that they'll end up being the next cycle's Collectors.
and not to mention the incredibly nonsensical derp Citadel-coup plot. Goddamn that was silly!
The only thing wrong with it is we still don't know why Cerberus wanted it, though we have a few theories.
Or how Tali became Admiral, what a joke!
Makes perfect sense to me.
Or the way the VS keeps acting like a moron through the entire game. First he/she keeps nagging about how he/she can't trust Shepard, then he/she acts like a dumb puppet for Udina, totally clueless of what is really going on, even though it's absolutely obvious.
True, but in-character and understandable.
And I haven't even mentioned Wrex and Legion yet, two characters who did a complete 180 turn in ME3 and completely contradicted their ME2 beliefs. Wrex all of the sudden being hellbend on curing the genophage
Actually, it was pretty obvious that was going to be his character arc since ME1.
and Legion being hellbend on uploading the reaper code to the geth consensus. That's just stupid!
Only because you don't understand it's not really Reaper code, not anymore than the Prothean mass relay or Thanix cannons are Reaper tech, which they aren't.
Shall I continue? Lets tall about the fact that the geth are so dumb that regardless of what you did in ME2, they always fall of the same reaper trap, AGAIN! The turning into willing slaves of the reapers once more is incredibly stupid! I'm glad I exterminated every single last one of those damn geth on Rannoch. After such a big amount of derp you simply do not deserve to live in my books.
They were facing extinction, it was live or die. Geth do not make decisions based on moral values, it was a purely practical decision. It's fairly clear that Legion, who clearly has feelings and such, disagreed with the decision. Completely in-character.
Oh, talking about Rannoch: The quarians deciding to go to war with the geth right at the point when the reapers are literally on their doorstep! Yeaaaaaaaah that's totally not stupid now is it? Oh, the reapers are coming, that means it's totally the perfect time to go to war to retake our home world! Makes sense! NOT!
It's very stupid, and totally in-character for the Quarians.
I can go on if you wish. How about the fact that all of the sudden Earth is the centre of the universe? How convenient that the Citadel, where we need to dock the Crucible, is now above earth! Well thanks a lot reapers, you just made it possible for us to liberate our homeplanet AND shut you down by docking the Crucible, all in one single massive attack! HOW CONVENIENT!
It's been clear since the beginning of ME2 that humans have been the focus of the Reapers. We're going to be this cycle's Reaper. This makes perfect sense.
Speaking of the Crucible and convenience: Don't you think it's a little too convenient that all of the sudden we find the Crucible blueprints on Mars right at the moment when the reapers are on our doorstep? Sorry, but we have the Mars archives for how many years? And we NEVER EVER heard of the Crucible until now right at the moment when the reapers come trashing our party? WOW, HOW CONVENIENT!
Actually, we agree with this completely, even most of the characters, including Shepard, do. That's why we think it's a trap.
---------------------
Something you fail to understand: You seem to think our thought process is "See endings, think they were bad, come up with alternate excuse" when really a lot of us saw what we now call IT out first time through, without outside knowledge.
The idea that someone thinks everything happened exactly as seen is hilarious to me. It'd be like believing all of Inception happened in real life and there were no dreams involved. Yeah, that doesn't make any sense at all.
You also don't seem to get that "it was all a dream" doesn't apply if it has real world consequences. Even if it did, your personal dislike of that plot device is meaningless.

That's what I did. Sacrifice the few (Aria & Nyreen / EDI & the Geth) for the many (thousands of civilians / the whole galaxy). In the end, the few don't actually die, it was a test of your willingness to do what is necessary.
