Synthesis being about storytelling made me laugh way harder than it should have.

You've got to admit, its a pretty good fairy tale concept.

In a horrifying way.

It is a good fairy tale concept, but like most fairy tales, dark and gritty in its own right. Shep does list "capacity to evolve" as one of the hallmarks of being alive in ME3... hmmhmm.

Agreed. That's why Inception and Zelda Links Awakening are good stories.

However, dreams and hallicunations have never been part of the major plot in Mass Effect, except for maby those 3 dreams about the kid. But there is a clear distinction between those dreams and what we experience during the ending.

I defy anyone to tell me he's not trolling after saying Link's Awakening was a good story.

Links Awakening had a good story, much better than Mass Effect 3. It was a good game.

I defy anyone to tell me this guy is not trying to flamebait me after saying absolute horsecrap nonsense about an excellent game.

Wasnt Link's Awakening all a dream?

Didnt you say earlier that being a dream makes a story suck?

Werent you going to bed?

It wasn't JUST all a dream.  It was a Zelda game that didn't include so much as a mention of Zelda and was entirely the dream of a a god-whale called the Wind Fish.  This asinine creature:

Posted Image

He slept in a giant egg, and his dreams of an island were made reality.  Why?  Because **** you, he's the god-whale, that's why.  Since Link shipwrecked on the dream island, he wasn't allowed to leave while the Wind Fish slept.  Why?  Again, **** you, that's why.  So Link pretty much genocides the island so he can leave.  But whatever, ethics are for douchebags anyway.  Much like a coherent storyline.

And I'm flame-baiting by saying that story sucks?  Really?

and these two scenes make you wonder to this day if it really was a dream or not:

I think waiting for the lock is stressing me out. I had a dream last night that it got locked while I was asleep and Hanar of all people made the new one.

My god... The Reapers are affecting you more than we could have possibly imagined:blink::blink:

I've told you guys the story of what happened on launch day before.

I played from midnight to 10am, them went to sleep, but woke up only an hour later because in my dream, my squad kept telling me to finish the fight, so I couldnt sleep.

I had a dream that people shut up about page counts and just talked.  Then again, I have that dream around page 500, 1000, 2000, ect. too.  And it's always just a dream.  A beautiful dream.

All right, I tried catching up from yesterday, but I was still 30 pages short. Just got tired of reading Hanar arguing in circles. Anyway, anything new today? Some of the Tweets have been interesting...

So...what's the easiest way to do this:

Operation DETONATOR (Nov 30th – Dec 2nd)

Anything that can do lots of explosions, my favourite for this is the default Asari Adept (Liara)

-DETONATOR
-deaths via biotic explosions
-Cabal units

Bioware really is the master troll. Too soon. Too soon.

That's how the Reapers get you. The offer of just... Perfection. Peace, understanding, those are the Reaper ideas through the Reapers eyes in Synthesis. They are already perfect, so following through with their ideas is just helping them forge another Reaper- to strengthen them.

Mark IV...has a good sound to the name. Reminds me of Star Wars Episode IV for some reason.

So have we finally decided what Cerberus's master plan was? I think this was posted by a bunch of people, but here it is...

Cerberus's Master Plan

- Gain control over everything.
- Find a way to control Reaper forces
- Use Omega for farming of Adjucants and eezo for the war effort and potentially afterwards. Also use Omega for a launching base of operations.
- Wipe out all competition.

Makes sense now that I look at it.

So what's next for BioWare? What could they possibly do now? (aside from IT)

DLC's so far:

Leviathan: Reaper's origins
Omega: Cerberus's Master Plan
Citadel / Guardian: ?

I have a feeling if they do a Citadel DLC it WILL involve Geth. But what about the Geth we don't know already? Or possibly the Citadel itself?

I've been skipping pages in large bunches for awhile. It will be good to go back one day and read all the stuff I missed. Just something to pass the time...

Random ME1 thing:

Am I the only one bothered that the Council doesnt accept the testimony of an eyewitness against Saren, despite the dockworker really having no other possible way of knowing about Saren, but they easily accept a random audio recording?

Because, theres no way you could fake an audio recording, right? There isnt even any video to go along with it.

Minor thought about that, probably nothing.  But they only seemed to be on Saren's side when Saren was 'present'.  When they accepted the new evidence, Saren wasn't at the hearing.  Perhaps it was due to his charisma, or something more sinister?

While I would love to see the Geth in the next DLC (My squad setup is just devastating to the Geth) Would it be possible for the Citadel DLC to be the last DLC, but come after a DLC that would include the Geth? (We have Reapers, now Cerberus)

Plot armor...or Leviathan indoctrination...take your pick.  It never really occured to me, but doesn't really bother me much. I have a feeling they had their suspicions but like all politicians they didn't want to cause an incident that would make them look bad. Put it in perspective: Top agent of the Highest Council of the Land goes rogue and brings most hated race in the galaxy at the time against them. Yeah. Doesn't look good.

My theory on this subject is that the Council just knew how awesome Tali was right at the start.

I think this one's got more to do with the fact that surviving that ordeal was likely a traumatic experience for that dockworker civvie, thus could be dismissed easily as non-reliable evidence.

Actually Remember Benezia said that Saren infulenced her with his words, but we later find out that Nazara was helping Saren gather assets/ persuade people with Indoctrination.

Also the first set of Mjolnir armour the Spartans in Halo got were Mark IV.

As for Cerberus's plans, have you seen my Cerberus Reaper theory?

Also Saren was the best specter the Councile had. He is not a person you would want to get on his bad side.

Oh and to help with the whole dream thing through out ME1.

During Sarens trial, Saren said along the lines " Are we now letting dreams prove that I am guilty.

Not really sure what he says actually, but I will look again or can someone post what he really says.
