IMO probably the best aspect of Omega was that it made me actually stop and think about my options rather than just picking paragon. I took the first renegade prompt to kill the general but then didn't take the second. Was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO close to though...spotlessvoid wrote...
I typically go pargon, unless it's stupid. But I noticed Omega drawing the renegade out of me. I offed him. Sometimes you don't get a second chance.

And in that particular room (afterlife) - the monitors are placed exactly so you can't miss it regarldess of what angle you look at them.
That could mean, that all those textures in the collectro ship and base were in fact inactive wall screens - ships instruments, and more - those hexagon patterns are used directly by the collector general, for all his activities, including contact with Harbinger - think about it - those are the same things from QEC on the Nornandy.
Besides - remember all those fulty and malfunctioning screens all over Omega? No you don't - the screens are perfectly fine - when Aria broadcasts her message to Omega - all the screens work perfectly - they just show those pictures - for some reason it is what actually is broadcasted thoughout Omega!

I played straight paragon and mine didn't have one. She let up on him on her own and said I made her soft. The end of mine had aria sharing she would cast out Cerberus instead of kill them
Also, how do you end up with that kiss scene you keep referring to. That didn't come up for me

Going Paragon changes Aria slightly, makes her a bit more merciful, but she also dosent really like you for having that influence on her. This triggers two Renegade interupts which can be used to kill Petroysky after she releases him.
Go Renegade though and agree with Aria and she stays merciless, killing Petroysky (unless you use the Paragon interupts) and also kisses Shepard.
In short your stance when dealing with Aria matters.
Also I think the Reactor scene is probably the best IT support we have from that DLC.
We got the villian whispering in Shepards ear in a life or death situation where Shepard can choose to sacrifice the many for the few. Giving in and beeing unable to risk Aria and Nyreen gains you nothing, but standing firm, beeing ready to sacrifice the few for themany gains you everything.
That is earily similar to the Catalyst and his "there is no time." Also bonus points because Petroysky and the Catalyst are both Holograms in said scene.
Hell Petroysky even ends the conversation by saying, "so be it!" an obvoius eco of the Catalyst in the refuse option.

You need to be mostly renegade during Omega DLC (support Aria in conversation instead of Nyreen) - then at Petrovsky Aria would not let up, you'd have the option to paragon interrupt twice, but if you don't take it and just watch - Aria will strangle Petrovsky (and while he dies, have mental sex with him) - and then after she would kiss you.
By the way, - i have decided - I am letting Aria strangle Petrovsky - you get the intel on cerberus anyway. (Aria's hackers find it in Petrovsky's files)

Ohhh ok I gotcha. She may not like me but I think it changes Omega. In my version the war assets, one of them, causes the mercs on Omega to save an alliance ship. From then on they are sent to the toughest battles

I went fully renegade in Omega - (except i did not kill the reactor) - and i still got the mercs saving allience ships.
Same thing on Omega Co.

you know the blue QEC on the normandy could relate to being controlled. Look at Blue for a moment. Shep jumps into the beam = blue husk eyes. Shep goes for control = Blue husk eyes.demersel wrote...
Guys... there is this thing about cerberus displays in omega - the displays in the aftelife, above the trap for Aria - if you look at them from the side - you can see that they are made out of yellowish hexagons - same hexagons you can see in background for a QEC room in the normandy (but those are blue) and same that make the holoprojectors work both in the normandy operations center and in Omega in both FOBs. The thing is those hexagons, when they were blue - looked very similiar to textures that can be found all over collector ship and base - except those were golden yellow, and these are blue. But now, with the cerberus version of them, which is yellow - they look EXACTLY like them.
And in that particular room (afterlife) - the monitors are placed exactly so you can't miss it regarldess of what angle you look at them.

Also it's odd that none of the people on the Normandy even asks or comments about Shepard missing and being on Omega. No Joker wisecrack about how Aria is ruthless or how he's sad to hear Nyreen died. None of the squad said anything. I have to wonder...did Omega really happen?

Did your files cause the destruction of a Cerberus lab?
The files are encrypted, and it is ongoing - put they provide threads on several cerberus crucial facilities, instead of just one, and also they have already given significant tactical advantage.
It is the same value - same 30 points.

huh guess you get more out of it? Mine was the destruction of the lab followed by further interrogation and a lawyer submitting an amnesty for Petrovsky and consideration to grant his release

Well it might be something simple as Aria not wanting Kaidan or Ashley on Omega, cant imagine they would agree in any way to how she handles the situation.
Or maybe it is Liara aka the Shadow Broker she dosent want to give any chances to gain a bigger foothold on Omega. Dont know how hse owuld know Liara is the Shadow Broker, but then again it is Aria and Liara seems to have been less secretive about who she is than the past Shadow Broker, at least towards friends (Wrex comment if you bring Liara with you on the Surkesh mission).

The galaxtic economy can only support the war effort for a year before collapsing
