I know, that's my biggest disappointment with Omega. While the DLC was good, the fact that Nyreen had to die, Aria couldn't die, and Nyreen and the Talons couldn't take over Omega kind of ruined it for me. So it's at the bottom of my DLC favourites list.

Quick thought: All capital reapers were supposedly built in Harbinger's image, but Harbinger is visibly different from the standard Sovereign class, and if they were capitals at the end of 2, some look different from each other anyway.

Artistic disintegrity.

Harbinger's even different from the Leviathans. They all have that middle leg thing. Without it, Harbinger has a more spider-like look to him, rather than the squid / prawn / head-louse appearance of the other Capital ships.

at the end of ME2 have a look at the reapers in dark space.  they are all different.  continuity fail from bioware.

Actually there are only four unique models there. It's very likely they're Harbinger, standard capital Reapers, Troop Transports, and Processor Ships. So, it makes perfect sense.

Maybe they are based on different strains or castes of Leviathan? - the same way social insects have very different phenotypes - soldiers, workers and so on, despite being genetically very similar.

Thinking along those lines, maybe Harbinger is actually based on a "Queen" leviathan. The reason s/he doesn't have that middle appendage is because it's a giant... ahem male characteristic.

About four different types and Harby is not 'all different' and the different types still appear in a lab on a side mission, implying they're around but the sovereign types are the front line combatants.

 or it's all an illusion.

on another thread someone brought up Chess and Traynor.

What if this is really like a game of chess?

This could also apply to indoctrination.  Move your indoctrinated people into places of power where they can do most damage, then strike.  Look at this as not just shep being indoctrinated, but others within the chain of command.  This could include high ranking officials including hackett (the crudible is the only way to destroy the reapers?  how the hell did he come to that conclusion?) This would ensure a quick reaper victory.

This makes sense when you listen to the codex on indoctrination.  What better way to win than to indoctrinate those in positions of influence (ie the councillors in ME1, TIM in ME2, etc.......) those who when the final battle takes place can have a direct impact on the battle.  Get them to concentrate all resources on some completely useless side project to buy time.  Get all resources in one place so when you destroy them, the resulting effect on the galaxy is catastrophic. Make these people ineffective and the reapers will win easily because these people are ensuring victory for the reapers without them even knowing it.  Divide and Conquer.

On the bright side, we now know Bioware has data/assets to produce Turian females in-game the future. Perhaps for MP and even ME4?

Turian Cabal's perhaps, with the armor? And inflitrators using the hooded cloak Nyreen had.

Sad. I wanted to divide power on Omega between her and Aria. She didn't have to go on her own to Afterlife.

I'm hoping for Turian females in MP, they're the only race that needs its opposite sex. Except for maybe Batarians, but...

It'd be great if it turned out female elcor were four times the size of males.

Not exactly. They may be the capital ships, which are ....sigh supposed to be different from each other, with the Destroyers and Transports left to the back. Why? I dunno.

I'm more concerned about the Reapers on Vancouver looking the same.

I like the idea that Nyreen was tainted though, but fighting it due to influence from being with Aria and her wish to save everyone on Omega, yet it became too much for her after the Eezo Plant and she decided that instead of shooting herself in the head, she was going to be an hero and at least take some of the monsters with her.

I mean, it might not even have to be a conscious process in her.

Salarians/Krogan/Drell - Too valuable due to low numbers
Vorcha/Volus - Could we tell?
Elcor/Hanar - Could we tell? + Not in MP

Don't forget that EDI was talking about the core of each Reaper being modelled after the race it was made from.

Keep in mind that these plans can go against them.

ME1 --> Conduit, hacking of Keepers, and using the BEAM to enter the Citadel and stop Saren

ME2 --> There isn't a beam in the game, but there is in the CGI TRAILER. By reaching through the Omega-4 Relay and destroying most of the Collectors, you set back the Reapers' progress to make a Human Reaper by several months. The beam in the CGI trailer and thusly be seen as perhaps symbolic.

ME3 --> There is the outright Conduit again on London. It may be a total trap, but perhaps somehow... this giant galactic trap could still be turned against the Reapers. We'll see.

Huh...Here's a thought.

You know how the Collectors took thousands of humans and popped out the Humanoid Reaper we took down in ME2?

Where the hell is the Humanoid Reaper on the Citadel? They must've taken Millions of humans up there, melted them down for processing, left the rejects discarded in the corridors. The human Reaper would be further along in development than what we saw in ME2, probably not complete yet.

EDIT: And with that, goodnight, sleep calls and I must answer.

Oh and I'll keep in mind that Chess idea about agents across the galaxy. Need to tell my boyfriend, because he was TOTALLY blindsided by Kenson, and Udina.

Yeah I don't think the thing is used to process humans for a Reaper...

I think it stood there before, and its been mentioned that some humans come back alive but changed (indoctrinated).

There may still be stuff happening on the Citadel, but ...

I think it would be damn interesting if a Citadel DLC all but states "You know that stuff you see on the Citadel in the ending? Can't logically happen, because x, y, and z are there."

I think Harbinger might have been blowing up all the Makos, transports, and gunships to avoid the universe-ending impossibility of any of those existing in the Citadel hallway. Posted Image
