So the giant supercomputers communicate via audio. Seems legit.

Yet more reason why the "Catalyst" being a collective Reaper intelligence is pure unleaded bull****.
You know what,if you ask bioware "Why is soverigns description different to the catalyst's?"
There should be no reason not to get a straight answer from them...
or is there???

Actully the radio used in that cutscene is the ear peice not the suit radio and ok assuming that he did think that was Shepard, how exactly did Anderson hear Shepard arriving? The conduit didnt make much noise and Anderson was in another area at the time. Supposidly.ajk_Jack wrote...

I still want to know what people's thoughts on the "click" after Shep gets beamed up actully was. I simply think it was the machine cooling down after being used. Similar to a kettle only more questionative.
You're talking about the sound after Anderson speaks, right? I'll agree, it is wierd.
Shepard spasms a little, almost as is he/she is responding somehow to Anderson's voice.

You know, now that I'm thinking about Anderson's line, it DOES seem pretty weird. And when I think about it, it almost sounds more like Anderson is trying to wake up Shepard, especially since the snap awake occurs right afterwards, and Anderson's tone kind of changes afterwards, if memory serves. Also, the wake up sound reminded me of the sounds that play as the slides in the Prothean visions in ME1&2 flash by. Combined with the red lighting in the hall, it seems like they might be trying to evoke the feelings of the Prothean visions.
Edit: OK, having rewatched the scene, I'd like to revise my statement slightly. The first, "Shepard (The one right before the sound.)," Sounds different in tone from the second, "Shepard." The first sounds calmer, almost flat, while the second sounds more desparate. You'd think that the first one would sound desparate, and the second would sound even more so. If I'd place a tone of the first one, it almost sounds like, I don't know, Anderson's trying to... reassure Shepard, maybe? I don't know. But it doesn't sound like the tone you would take if you were alone trying to figure out if someone else was up there. The second one has this tone, but the first one doesn't. The first one also doesn't sound very pained, either.

so any speculations on when leviathan will come out? I'm very torn on whether or not I should buy it. on one hand it sounds like it will be a great dlc but I hate bioware so much for their horrible ending I just can't find it in me to give them money.
Don't hate them. The ending was brilliant, remember?

(at around 4:43)
But from what we know, Anderson appears to already be in the Citadel, which doesn't add up. So how did Anderson know Shepard had arrived if he was already there, I don't know. It's pretty confusing.

I don't mind the multiplayer changes. You may cry, They Changed it, Now it Sucks, everytime they rebalance something, but I'm pretty sure you're in the minority.

Don't hate them. The ending was brilliant, remember?I know I'm going to buy Leviathan. It looks awesome so far, and it looks like a return to form for BioWare, which makes the improbability of the endings sucking so much even greater.

I mean from an IT perspective, they're brilliant. From a Literalist perspective... they're merely decent.

Stickied one? Eric Fagnan made it himself. And you heard wrong. The fact that so many players with a typhoon are using a revenant instead now should be the first clue.

I'd love to hear what you'd have to say if they made it so nova wasn't a magic "I win" button that puts you into an invincibility loop.

Its already like that when I'm not hosting, which is most of the time.
Anyhow, I'd probably just switch to my geth hunter or demolisher and get over it.
