Varric: Daisy, for my sake, please quit cutting through the alleys in Lowtown alone at night.
Merrill: Nothing ever happens. I'm perfectly safe, Varric.
Varric: Yes, I know. And that nothing is costing me a fortune.

This is assuming the relays would not be destroyed. If they were, well... bad writing? Because that would be stupid. But really, if they were, then you could see people on Earth or fly somewhere really slowly with your crew.

Relays are Reaper tech though. Not sure how they'd handle that. By destroying the Reapers, you'd also destroy or severely damage their technology.

Who says? We have no idea what the Crucible does in IT. The protheans managed to build them, so we could in time, then destroy the established ones. Also, they can't indoctrinate (they're in space) but even if they could, would that even work if the reapers are dead?

Nice to see another Jack romancer. I really liked her developement in ME2... A shame we didn't get much of her out of ME3 though =(

Also yeah... Romancing Liari... is kinda like robbing the cradle in ME1 XD

Jack is the best ME2 romance.

Tali seemed more like a kid than Liara to me.

Ever tried Merrill in DA2?  I felt like a pedophile.

I'm surprised she didn't get knifed, mugged, and sexually-assaulted on her first day in the city.

That girl had plot armor made of triple forged unobtainium.  There's like a dozen different ways that she'd never have made it to adulthood even in real life.  Can you not see her trying to make friends with a black mamba and getting bitten 7 times in the first 3 minutes?  Now toss in blood magic and demons and Merrill being alive is the single most unrealistic thing in a game where no one notices they're living in a portal to Hell and people can walk next to rivers of magma without breaking a sweat.

Not sure, but I heard Hackett say something about how they were only building this thing to only target Reapers.

Yeah... To be fair, in my game I was playing a younger looking rogueish sarcasti-Hawke so I felt the romance with her was appropriate for my character =P

Well that's just an excuse but whatevs XD

I will say though, I thought her Romance arc was particularly interesting... Hell, in my first playthrough I got her whole village killed accidently! I was totaly shocked and depressed by that and had to revert my saves back two hours or so just to be sure I didn't let that happen again XD

Her village deserved it.  They stupided themselves to death.  "What?  Our keeper was an abomination?  And you're not placing all the blame on the girl who didn't even know about it?  Then we kill you, mighty slayer of dragons, demons, vanquisher of the qunari, and other insane combat fears too numerous to mention!"  They committed Suicide By Protaganist.  They tried to kill someone who they had no reason to want dead and had no chance of beating.  Even that one whose son you saved from slavery and the Circle.

The Dalish make it hard as hell not to be racist.  Because goddamn do they suck.

Merrill was unbelievably naive. It was like the director said " okay, she's child-like, great. Now turn it up to eleventy and we'll be square."

OMG just 981 points. I need a better way to get biotic explosions. So far I'm just using singularity and warp

On the plus side if I do 20 solo bronze matches against cerberus and get to the end each time, I could get the detonator challenge.

Warp + throw.

That's a war asset I believe. You find a crucible asset, that has Mass relay sysstem's, but it shows all Reapers on the map. I think.

I'll probably get beheaded y Rif for saying this, but I think Jacob is a decent character. Not interesting enough to romance when there's the option of Garrus, but still a decent character.

You mean Squaresoft?  Because that's a pretty apt analogy.  Both wrote some great games in the past.  But FFXIII and DA2...  :?

well I meant the people making the game would have their debt paid to the director (that's what the idiom means) but that works too.

I have the same opinion.  I still don't get all the Jacob hate.  Or all the Kaidan hate.

She is actually a lot like me in many ways. I had a ciscussion with someone else about it back in the DA2 days and we came up with the theory that like me, and the person I was discussing it with as it turned out, Merrill may actually have Asperger's Syndrome.

I've got that. I mean I can be really smart at times, and sometimes, I can just start repeating the same thing over and over again. Not to mention, people with that have very fixed interests. I think David Archer has this as well. Or some form of it.

That makes a lot of sense. I know someone with Asperger's but not a strong case of it. But still, geez, some of the things she would say would make me wonder why this wasn't coming out of the mouth of a four-year-old. No offense to you, of course.

I used bolded pink text as my font in an IRC chatroom I used to go to. It was originally so I could easily stand out if I wanted to see what I'd said before, but I actually do like the color now.

Also, pink is the class color for Paladins, and my main character in WoW is a Paladin. I guess they figured that despite being the only plate-wearing class that still wore dresses and rode a sparkly unicorn that wears a skirt as our class mount, we still werent girly enough.

No offense taken, and she probably has a stronger case of it than your person does so it shows more. For example, I'm classified as severe so I never noticed anything wrong with what she said. Funny thing is, I was playing it once with my friends and they all said I was exactly like her so she is now my favorite DA character forever.Posted Image
