I'm invoking Poe's Law on this, because noone can be this incredibly ridiculous (besides Seival)

Because Shepard, being the main character, is made immune to give the players the agency they want.

Besides, Shepard can't be indoctrinated, no matter how hard the IT-ers protest. Game itself supports this strongly.

I also like on that thread how it turned from a discussion of why ITers feel the way they do straight into IT bashing. They just can't help themselves. They gleefully post ignorant hate like a fat kid shoves cake into his mouth even in a thread meant to try to understand our position and interpretation.

"We will find another way"

Turns out reaper plan B was just a standard invasion they were gonna do anyway... or was it.

I've got a perfect quote for them based on Mr. Sparkle's assertion that they just want to help us, paraphrasing Voyager:
Borg Queen: We merely wish to aid them on the path to perfection.
7 of 9: Maybe you should use that next time instead of 'resistance is futile' and you might get some volunteers.

Do you think there would still be an IT dlc when basically they are asking for plans for me4 in some other thread? Maybe they just want to release all other dlc first.

They'll either wait until the dlc cycle is over and release it at the end, or we're going to have to sit it out at the uncool kid's table with everyone throwing food at us until ME4 proves us right (if it even does).
This is assuming any reveal might happen. That would be nice, but it's not necessary.

I've never expected a DLC or anything, but I wouldn't refuse it if it came.

Remember when Shepard got knocked out from a Reaper artifact directly affecting him and he was knocked out for two days and was sleeping in the same facility the artifact was held in and didn't get indoctrinated at all?

Considering a large chunk of us consider that to be where the indoctrination began, no, I dont remember that.

Yeah, that happened. But it only established a connection to Harbinger. If the Reapers want to use you, they won't immediately indoctrinate you.

I can't believe people seriously believe Shepard is completely immune. Shepard isn't Jesus okay?

Is that honestly why some think Shepard is somehow immune? Object Rho didn't make them a puppet in two days?

What if someone didn't do the DLC?That was the only time Shepard was directly affected by Reaper tech.Besides, indoctrination doesn't simply go away.Even if the Reapers are all dead Shepard can get indoctrinated.Just look Benezia "My mind will never be the same" or that Rana person who killed a bunch of people who was indoctrinated by Sovereign, which died three years ago.

Remember back in the day, when literalists told us we cant count Object Rho towards Shepard's indoctrination, because you dont have to do that DLC?

And now they're saying that Object Rho proves Shepard cant be indoctrinated?

Edit: He actually ninja'd me and proved my point. Fantastic!

Whether or not you personally did Arrival, it is canon that Shepard did it. The comics say so.

Rana and Benezia spent far more time around a living Reaper than Shep ever did. They were way more indoctrinated.

It's extra funny because Macncasey said it was canon and there's no reason for Shep to be under house arrest without it.

You fought a baby Reaper and Sovereign in close proximity. That's enough to start the process. Not even counting being in the collector ship and all of the indoctrinated enemies you fight that are, themselves, indoctrination antennas.

And the whispers after the beacon opened Shepards mind while Sovereign was in close proximity.

Remember how one person in said facility mentions having multiple nightmares? Well multiple nightmares requires multiple days and it dident sound like he was quite Indoctrinated yet considering he found it strange.

The more a subject is indoctrinated the more useless they become for the reapers. Obviously that may be a reason why Shep isn't fully indoctrinated to be a mindless servant, but controlled more subtly.
