Also Hanar think We think Shepard was on the Citadel, came back down to Earth do to reentry? That was a load of bs.

Is there any codex information on the planet Shepard crashed on? I could believe him not being totally pulped if it was a world like Saturn's moon Titan - one with low gravity, but an unusually dense, cold atmosphere to slow his fall? I imagine both those factors would reduce his terminal velocity - perhaps someone on the thread who's good at physics would know?
Yeah, lower gravity and pressure, higher mass.

So Hanar's moved from the Literal Theory to the Deception Theory. I understand someone not being able to take a story at anything but face value, but the supporting the DT makes you either an idiot or a troll.
I'm unfamiliar with the Deception Theory. What is it? Another way to try and discredit IT and try and make us out to be complete morons? lol

Thanks for the link. Hmm, lower atmospheric pressue than Earth? I would have thought that would decrease drag, so Shepard would hit the ground with greater speed and make pizzafication more likely.
Titan, for example has higher atmospheric pressure than earth, despite having lower gravity to hold on to a dense atmosphere.

And another thing I thought about that shield protecting the decision chamber area. It would have to be a semi-sphere due to the nature of the area, being completely open topped. And thus its like an egg in shape (sort of). Problem is, such a shape would only be effective from the outside. From the inside it would be breached without much effort at all, like a real egg.
So it wouldn't be able to muffle the explosion very well at all, unless it originated from the outside. Which it doesn't - the explosion starts from within. Which would likely destroy the generator anyway!
The concept of Shepard surviving an explosion like that is so shot full of holes that I can't beleive anyone would even entertain the notion anymore.

It would also decrease burning, increasing the suits survival chances, which was the important part.Eryri wrote...

Don't be silly. Shepard is a typhoon-wielding soldier.

Hanar doesn't even try to mention the potential forcefield, he was denying the explosion that covers the whole presidium would be fatal because the citadel didn't look too damaged from it.Andromidius wrote...

It's trying created a synthesis of LT and IT, and of course, it doesn't work at all. Everything actaully happens, but there's indoctrination going on.
I guess you could say it's IT for the people that hate the ending and think Bioware sucks.

You mean the explosion that still blows chunks out of the incredibly durable, quantum-shielded superstructure of the Citadel?

I even has the spin-up and spin-down sound effects, I'm pretty sure they changed the model fairly late in development.

For Biotics - I love to play them, but I'm kinda useless without Liara and the stasis bubble
Omega was a pain in the ass without Liara ...

During WW2 some tanks could withstand an anti-tank round without even having the hull breached or badly dented.
The crew still died from the heat transfer and pressure wave.
Facts really aren't on his side at all.
