Is there some bug that kills Liara's romance in 3 if you romanced her in 1 and 2? First time I've done a series playthrough with her as LI and apparently I got friend-zoned out of nowhere. I don't think I pissed her off somehow...

Do you mean this scene?

Yes, that's where I am at the moment. Though I was suspicious something got broken earlier since I got the exact same "what do you want written about you in my space time capsule that Buzz Aldrin will tell his grandkids about" scene as I usually get when not romancing her.

That scene doesnt change if she's romanced as far as I know.

Except for the scene in Shepard's cabin before the assault on TIM's base, which was great, Liara's romance was pretty subpar this game.

A lot of the romances felt that way, and not just the ME2 ones that totally got the shaft.

It didn't change for any of my Shepards that romanced Liara in all 3 games, thought Liara was trying to let me down easy until I saw the "friends doesn't cut it" option. The scene IS somewhat different if you only romance Liara in ME3 and not in any of  the previous games.

Wondering if the conversation is bugged, know there's a few that don't trigger with previous events correctly, or if Bioware just wanted to give you a way out of the relationship just in case....

Considering the game now recognizes that I stayed faithful to her in LotSB, and I assure her I'm still interested when she first comes aboard in ME3, I really should have never had any of that "You're a good friend" stuff.

They need to do something to make the romances suck less.

Especially the ME2 ones. Jack is my favorite MaleShep LI, but theres pretty much no point in romancing her, since ME3 doesnt give a damn if I did.

Liara and Shepard are so hilariously awkward together. Those two fools are hopelessly in love with each other but don't know what the hell they're doing. It's so cute

Yeah, it's so obvious now, though I never really noticed it on my first playthrough. I never liked/trusted Vendetta. He's most likely a reaper construct. None of the other prothean beacons used VIs. They transfered images to the mind. Even in ME3.

What about Vigil in ME1? He was a Prothean VI and didn't transfer images to Shepard's mind.

There is a way out after you get back on the Normandy. You can basically end it a few times.

imo garrus got the best romance and jack got the worst in ME3 (in how they were executed)

Yes, but Vigil was not a beacon. Beacons don't have VIs.

@MB, no, though I hope it's interesting. I think maybe the one after it will - the one with all the writers.

ME2 Tali is awkward. ME3 Tali isnt awkward at all.

I liked her in ME2 for her adorkableness, but she lost almost all of it in ME3.

Well in the mean time I been playing Black ops 2. It actually by far the best COD ever made. Plus I love what's after the credits.

Banshee true, but maybe the Citadel dlc will be something epic, but I wonder if all those writers are working on ( yes I know it's grasping at straws) project X.

@byne - I feel bad when I die on bronze lol.

@everyone - all I had was a M-5 Phanlax II (trying to get points into weapons while I'm at it) on firebase white with 2 scions, 1 Pretorian, a possessed collector all surrounding the lz. I used my last of my cobras in an earlier mp, I was out of medigel, out of shield packs, had thermal packs for all that did me. I saw I had 40 seconds so I bugged out of the lz, ran for about 30 seconds warping what I could, then ran to the lz with 10 seconds on the clock, made it with 3 seconds left, killed a collector, and bugged out on the shuttle. All with the aforementioned enemies trying to kill me.  Meanwhile all the squad mates...well they all died before this all happened

funny this is the critics gave it a bad review before it came out saying things like it was too repetitive of previous cod games, had nothing original or new, etc

Wait...

The DLC that all the writers are working on is NOT the Citadel DLC?

I'm really confused.
