but ya then why didn't we use the Omega cluster during the Omega dlc?  What did we do in Hawking Eta?

No clue. As for the Hawking Eta, maybe a future DLC will use it, as more of them are locked if you don't have Leviathan.

Omg! I found something on Illium! Liquid Assets

I'm pretty sure those are from the Leviathan DLC, you do get a few extra systems to scan for assets. Inlcuding a Vorcha fighter squad named Void Wing if I remember right.

Who thought giving the dumbest species in the galaxy a fighter squadron was a good idea?

You might as well drop volus into high risk areas along with other elite fight-- ohwaitaminute.

:( Volus are soldiers too. Small soldiers with mean explosives and-PAYDAY! PAYDAY! CONTRACT FULFILLED! PAYDAY!

Volus and Batarians get all the hate, but they're my my favourite MP races.

Batarians ? Why ?

My Batarian Soldier is the best CC kit there is. Is there something wrong with the Lore or anything ?

No, the lore is fine.

Can't find the link, but Evil-Chris has said it a few times, and many others.

Volus in MP are lore breaking. Maybe if they were on Irune and didnt need a suit, or used a different kind of suit, I'd be more ok with them. Their current suits are basically like fighting in those hard diving suits used for extreme depths. They shouldnt be as mobile as they are.

Ok so the two areas on the galaxy map I'm referring to are highlighted by my cursor (one for each pic).  For the entire game they were just little balls that you can highlight but can't click.  Then after a bit the reapers were shown over them but you still couldn't click.  But as you can see you can actually have a destination and even use the mass relays there to get to other areas:

1. Omega Nebula
2. Hawking Eta Cluster
3. Bloody Ninja Expanse

Well, I don't know why they're so fast, but other than that, they're fine.

They're the best suits money can buy, you really think that with all the other awesome stuff in the MEU they couldn't have suits with mechanically assisted limbs? Or a small eezo core to reduce the wearer's mass? Those do exist. The MP Volus are basically the richest Volus ever, which says something.

I've always thought that those spots you weren't able to travel to would be unlocked in future DLC.

I'm sure they could have such suits, but they're just wearing the same suits we see all the civilian volus wearing.

Similar, but much more armoured, not that that even makes a difference, as they have 150 health. The shoulders are the most obvious, but the upgrades are things you wouldn't see, given that they have really good tech and shields and that's it.

Would have been nice to have unlocked the Omega Nebula so we can travel there to play Omega

I still think Volus should have been able to lay down on the ground and have squadmates bowl them into enemies.

Then I'd be ok with Volus.

I just came up with an explanation for why the N7 Team War Asset makes such a big difference to Shepard's willpower even though he doesn't know them. He may not know them personally, but he knows they're multi-species, and he knows they're working together. They're a symbol of unity, not just between two or three races, but ALL of them, what Shepard is fighting for.

One thing I'll never understand about MP is why it makes me name my characters.

During the demo, I figured the names would be mentioned in SP at some point, but that never happened.

I'm guessing that it's probably to help you connect with your characters... or something.  Really, I've just started using it as an excuse to come up with unfitting names.  I think I named my Batarian Brawler "Larry."  Seriously.

Edit: Great, top with a rather pointless comment.  Gotta love it when that happens.

That, and because they're "us".
