One thing I'll never understand about MP is why it makes me name my characters.

During the demo, I figured the names would be mentioned in SP at some point, but that never happened.

I'm guessing that it's probably to help you connect with your characters... or something.  Really, I've just started using it as an excuse to come up with unfitting names.  I think I named my Batarian Brawler "Larry."  Seriously.

Edit: Great, top with a rather pointless comment.  Gotta love it when that happens.

See, I'm the kind of person who only names characters things I think parents of that species might legitimately name their children, so its a huge pain in the ass.

Geth are the easiest. I just name them Unit 1457 or something and it works.

So has anyone heard of anybody naming their child Shepard yet? In RL.

Do you mean in relation to the game, or just in general? Because the only tolerable anchor on Fox News is named Shepard Smith.

Yeah, I mean influenced by Mass Effect.

I USED to be that kind of guy, but I've realized that it's just too much of a pain in the *** to worry about, and since it doesn't matter anyway, I figure I might as well get a good laugh out of it.

How do we even know if the next DLC is going to be about the Citadel?

Did we get any information outside of that one leak that looked fake?

Well, to be fair, I did name my Kai Leng wannabe Lucky Charms, and my Cerberus Phoenix vanguard Fawkes.

TSA and the other dataminers found references to Citadel levels along with Omega levels in Leviathans files.

Seriously, some people suck. Wave 10, silver Cerberus. My WHOLE TEAM dies. Can't revive them, so I'm left all alone to disarm 2 devices. And I'm non-stop attacked by an entire platoon of Guardians! Dozens of them at once, with turrets being placed in the back!

So yeah, 3 Medi-gel, 2 Survival kids, 4 Cobras...and then I'm out with 10 seconds to spare trying to disarm the last device. And I'm taken down with the device 75% complete.

I have and Bioware have been very thorough/careful this time to not leave any info for us to find about future DLC.

It's been 9 months since the game came out, and the ending was first seen, and this "Indoctrination Theory" is still going on?

Jeez, people are WAY to clingy here.

Its been 9 months since the game came out, and people still fail to recognize this "Indoctrination Theory" as a valid ending even though Bioware has stated that it is in fact valid?

Jeez, people are WAY too ignorant.

I am a fan of IT myself but plz can you elaborate when and how did BW confirmed validity of IT ? If you consider statement  "evryone can belive in what he thinks is right" was that confirmation then I have no further questions, but maybe I missed some breaking news out there, so plz can you provide me with any link ?

I believe it was during Mark I. Chris Priestly told off a bunch of trolls, such as the one above, stated that it was our right as this is a valid theory, and then closed that thread down for length, stating they could re-open a new thread.

I make up crazy names on the spot. I always try to come up with combinations of sounds that sound kind of humourous or exotic to my ears. It's an exercise in creativity. I always try to be real spontaneous about it and spend no more than a few seconds making them up.

Dynphe K'Ta, the Asari Commando.
Chells Diddum, the Salarian winfiltrator
Yoonkh Bannock, the Batarian brawler.
Drankh, the Kroguard
Sleem Ponx, the biotic god

Interesting that we know there's the Citadel DLC, not that we know much about it, and then nothing else after that. We know there's DLC, but no hint of what it is.

I heard somewhere that the xbox download was bigger than the PC one. Has anyone tried looking at the xbox files? Can you even do that?

Right, I forgot about that. Couldn't those just be references to things in Dr.Bryson's lab though?

I'm guessing you'd have to connect an USB hard drive to the XBox and download/copy the files to that, then connect said hard drive to your PC and use some kind of software to access the files.

That's how the save editor works, so that's a good guess.

No, Leviathan files all had the same title.  They were all named after Leviathan.  However, there were also files titled Citadel, so they could only assume those files were related to a different DLC.

I like that, apparently, at one point, just putting on a deep voice and insulting humans was sufficient.
