"Working on [redacted] instead of [redacted2] today, despite me thinking I'd get to [redacted2]. Ended up having to help out with [redacted3]"

Not to put a damper on any expectations, but Jos clarified that all of the incidences of [redacted] were elements of the same project, not three separate DLCs. Click the link Vertigo_1 originally provided above and find Jos's most recent response in the comment section for confirmation.

Fair enough, I never followed up with it. Still, even if there aren't 3 more for sure coming, there are at least 2, the one that is QA, "Citadel" or whatever they are calling it, and the one with all the writers working on it...

And to completely quash it, that tweet refers to several different things that are all part of the same bigger thing. Can't/won't comment on what any of it is (yet), but I cover quite a few different things, so those [redacted]s referred to different things I do. Sorry for the confusion! (and let me throw an extra curve ball in your speculations that writers and QA can be working on the same thing at the same time as well)

Well, this kind of puts a minor damper on things. I guess they are only working on just 1 DLC at the moment, but it is the one that everyone is working on and is in QA. So, most likely, it will not be out before the end of the year, but I'm banking more and more on Anniversary/Citadel DLC...

From what I understand they emply a circular dev approach. Send stuff to QA and if need arises send it back to writers who make corrections and send it again to QA. Of course, it's vastly oversimplified. Programmers, graphic artists and musicians are involved too.

i'd say there was a difference there.

I really doubt the ME2 one was a QEC. Theres no point installing a QEC in an embassy when the council is just up in the tower. The communication would be instant just over regular channels. Having a QEC for that would be like me going outside, getting in my car, and driving 10 feet to my mailbox to get the mail. I could just walk there and be equally as effective.

Also the colour may, just may, be due to different manufacturers of the holoprojectors.

Right, that only proves the point. Let's use state of the art vessel build by our stated enemy, whose methods are terrorism, spying and covert ops, filled with mysterious tech, which we don't really understand in addidion to all sorts of known bugs and listening devices, and which we only got like few moths ago, as a command and comm for our entire fleet. That is not suspicius at all. No, not at all.

There was once this city of Ilium.... You might have heard of its fate...

You realize that part of the reason for the retrofit was to get rid of all Cerberus tech on the ship, right? And you're acting like we're just using QECs we found lying around on board. We specifically manufactured them for the ship. They werent there already.

Not sure what your point about Illium is.

Ilium=Ilion=Troy ... he implies that there is something bad hidden in the Normandy as the greeks hid in the wooden horse and infiltrated Troy.

A fun fact: it's sufficient to have a single EP pair to send a video transmission. QE is so rapid that for computers at each end it appears as a local processing task.

Well, they menaged to miss an unshacled AI on board, which is a pretty big thing, so that tells you how thorough they were with their retrofitting efforts.

Maybe it's me overreacting but sorry Mr. Anderson, this is MySheps Normandy!

They pretty clearly didnt miss it. Adams noticed it, he even tried disconnecting her, but eventually decided not to.

Actually, Adams didn't miss the unshackled AI, it's just that he left it on the ship.

Ilium (With one "L") is one name for Troy.  Illium (With two "L's") is the name of an asari world in the ME universe.

Man, that topic about 'indoctrinating Shepard doesn't make sense'....

I posted the codex entry on indoctrination that explains how subverting military or political leaders can bring down nations etcetera, and all I get is handwaving and 'that codex entry doesn't make sense'.

People are handwaving everything at this point. But no, IT-ers are in denial!

Kill me.

Kill me now.

What greater weapon is there than to turn an enemy to your cause? To use their own knowledge against them?

Only one weapon is greater.  The greatest weapon of all.  The N7 Typhoon.

And the AI was hiding itself. Indoctriation devices aren't generally subtle.

Seriously. You say Ilium on a Mass Effect forum, people arent going to go "Oh, clearly he means Troy!"

They're going to assume you spelled Illium wrong.

Adams suspected her and has chosen not to report her and not dig deeper cause he feared for his life. And really, we know that EDI is fine (even we don't know 100%) - Adams didn't - so really what he did is a crime, and coutmatialled offence, considering it is the flagship to be for the entire fleet.

And he only suspected her because he is the best. Was everybody else working on the retrofitting as good as Adams?

what else did they find and thought, "Ah, it's probably fine..." insted of reporting it?
