What does Shepard do when he wakes up mortally wounded to a bunch of Sovereign class Reapers and Harbinger with no backup or people to call on?

No one knows for sure. Ideas, yeah, but that's truly speculation. It would be as if ME1 ended right here, or ME2 ended right here.

That's right, but general consensus is that the breath scene is symbolic of Shepard waking up as himself, unchanged. Indoctrinated Shepard means the real Shepard is dead, like Anakin becoming Vader.

Lets hope that the next "Secretive" DLC will include better squaddie interactions. That was pitiful in Omega.

That would make it far, far too obvious.  Part of IT is that BioWare is not merely indoctrinating Shepard, but is also indoctrinating the players, too.  And based on some of the threads that I've seen, they've definitely succeeded.

Sure, if they wanted to be completely obvious about what happened.

They didnt, so Shepard doesnt wake up in the two endings where she is disintegrated.

@Mass Perfection Basically what you and Blur said. It would make the most sense that you could wake up in all endings but any number of things could happen from there. Maybe you could be saved in control or refuse? Maybe not. The possibilities are limitless!

@Dwailing/Byne How could it not be obvious after they release a DLC about it? If it's going to be obvious, they better have endings for control/synthesis so I can laugh at them.

I'm saying they didnt want to be too obvious about it right out of the gate. Of course they dont need to worry about being obvious after releasing an IT DLC.

I'm about 75% certain that there will be an IT DLC some time next year.  As for its price, I'd like it if it was free, but this IS EA we're talking about.  As for the leaked DLC timetable/schedule, if you're referring to the Citadel DLC, then yes, I believe that's what we'll be seeing next.

What scarys me the most is that if Bioware did not plan IT, then a lot of players became Indoctrinated. I mean 1 it was like I can Control them/s ave everyone. Then it was They are just doing their job. What's wrong with that. Then It was I can't kill the Reapers. Who ever kills the Reapers is a very bad person. Now it's the Reapers are the good guys, and we were the bad guys. How could we try to stop them from protecting us.

Honest I hope Bioware planed IT, but I think they did because if Byne, and a few others saw that the endings off, and dream like. Then Bioware has nothing to worry about. Yet I believe them that they did plan IT because just look at Leviathan. That was like a confirm that everything can/could be happening in Shepard's head/ endings/ the brat are fake. Plus Leviathan takes the form of Ann, and creates Brysons lab table from Shepard's memorys, as well as the people he/she has meet.

That when the Rachni do as advertised and make a huge impact on the ending sequence.

Or Wrex and Grunt leading the Krogan.

Or the Geth Primes.

Or Javik and the rest of your crew come to the rescue.

If you don't have any of the multitude of things that can come and help Shepard after Shepard was there to help them, then you were metagaming to have the worst possible save and get your reward - the Reapers winning, and Shepard bleeding out in front of Harbinger as he gloats.
