Basically this. Sometimes people jokingly call literalists indoctrinated, but I think Seival actually is indoctrinated.

Seival is the one with the avatar with glowing green eyes right

I hope you don't think I'm trying to talk like you aren't here or patronizing you. Because I'm not trying to do that.

I never assumed that. You were trying to defend me and I appreciate that.Posted Image

To answer this.
How do you guys view Seival?

Seival should seek counseling and never be given leadership or management responsibility.

Okay, cool. I have a brother-in-law who is autistic so I try to be sensitive.

Where are you guys talking about?

In the FOB there is a dialogue between an Alliance Med and a civilian, and it changes if you manange to shoot most husks and canibals with that stupid turret.

Nice, I didn't know that could change either...

The people who seem to like it are either naive, contrarian, fascist, misanthropic, or some combination there-of. I only exclude LDS Revan because he has a condition. I wouldn't even put him in naive.

Naive is the most common. I'm misanthropic and I go destroy 100%.

He has confessed to having asperger's multiple times, Byne.

Confess implies he did something wrong. Most people brag about asperger's like it's a superpower. Not that I'm saying he did, honestly I didn't pay attention. Just that a lot of people do. Society has gotten to be so "about" being smart that we've forgotten intelligence is a natural thing. If we have it, we didn't do anything to earn it. It's not brag-worthy. Actions are worthy of judgments, not genetics.

Again that makes no sense literally. How is Shepard killing a bunch of husks at the FOB supposed to affect the survival of the civilian when she's probably miles away?

It's more like - Kill Reapers, be fine

Hmm... Do you think that means that the civilian on the radio is an auditory hallucination - which is more or less depressing depending on Shepard's self-belief based on his performance with the turret? Or am I reading too much into a game mechanic?

Actually - I don't know. Could simply be a easteregg. I only encoutered this change once (still trying to figure out what wave comes from where to trigger it once more). I don't give to much into that turretthing-scene, because feels so overall missplaced.
But the dialogue was much more hopefull ...

You know the longer it's been since Byne first thought up the IT, the more I am sure it's the way Bioware intended.

I take the silence as a positive. I feel bad for people who come on the thread to insult us as it's just sad.

The only thing I've ever bragged about involving this is being compared as basically the real life version of Merrill.

I admit that perhaps confess might be the wrong word with the implications it suggests, but the english language is a tricky thing sometimes. Perhaps confirmed, confided, or divulged might have been better?

I actually think the longer this goes on, the more panicky, paranoid, and scared the Anti-ITers are becoming. Maybe not conciously, but they're starting to make threads about trying to explain away indoctrination and how it was used for the villians and etc. Like they're still in the anger and denial stages of grief and we've moved on or never grieved at all.

Yes. Something like that.
