Nothing is ever 100 percent proven. If there is evidence that is good enough to dethrone a theory, they will. For example, 600 years ago people thought the Earth was flat. A few hundred years later we found out it was actually round. So they threw out the Flat Earth Theory. Heh, cool name for something.

Actually, contrary to popular belief, people knew the Earth was round since the time of the Ancient Greeks (I believe, even so, they knew about it LONG before Columbus).

By contrast, I know three people in this thread who knew it was an indoctrination attempt before even coming here (during the game even): Byne, Doomsday, and me. There are probably others. Don't feel offended if I don't list you guys.

I have to say, you guys must of been switched on! When it all started pouring out after Shep gets hit by the beam, I sat there like a zombie being spoon fed mind ****ery! In all honesty all I can say about the whole thing is its just pure brilliance.

I know many disagree but in my eyes it seems so foolish not to believe in such a thing once its all layed on a plate for you.

I'm a novelist by trade and I was paying very close attention to everything, especially the themes and a lot of the foreshadowing as well as authorial intent. I don't think of myself as special or anything, just story-minded because it's part of my job description. But yeah, once your eyes are open " it's full of stars."

Because we are interested. We discover new things by discussion and seeing things from other points of view. We think of it as a puzzle made to be completed by a group. Also, there is a social aspect to it since we are friends and, you know, humans socialize. It's what we do, you know, on a discussion board about story discussion.

This is like asking us why we are discussing how to train dogs on a pet forum.

Oh yeah, what new things were discovered to warrant the last 300 pages?
Wouldn't it be more enjoyable and user friendly if you discussed it in a private forum, why do you feel the need to have this thread here on the main forum?

demersel discovered the striking resemblances between the geth dreadnought and catalyst chamber missions.

Wel, it was the first I'd heard of it...which kind of shows the point of talking about things a lot...so others don't miss it.

I have a very important question.

Why does everyone here feel the need to recite points that were brought up months ago in a 2300 page long thread?

I have a very important question.
Why do you feel the need to come in here and state that IT is delusional using the same troll arguments brought up months ago in an over 6000 page topic? (This is Mk III after all)

Because this thread doesn't stop.
You think after MK II they would have stopped, but why do you continue posting the same points everyday?

Of course it won't stop, it is completely valid. There is no reason for it to stop. Are you honestly trying to stop this thread? Why? What are you even doing here in the first place, if you don't agree with IT, then DONT BOTHER WITH IT, my god.

I'm not trying to stop it, I'm trying to understand why you continue discussing something despite no new evidence or information of any kind.

Tons of stuff in the last 300 pages, considering Omega was released then. In just the last day there was Demersel's geth dreadnought stuff.

You're like one step away from telling us to take the discussion to the fan-creations forum. I'm almost tempted to call you a Seival sock-puppet, espeically since you brought him up for like no reason at all earlier.

A man in Alexandria discovered it using a stick and a shadow. Then when the library was burned down, we forgot about it as a species until it was rediscovered again. Carl Sagan covers this in Cosmos pretty well. I think it was the first or second episode.

Because once again, Bioware has said that it will stay here. This arguement has already been brought up. This same exact arguement. You know what Bioware said? It will not be moved. I don't know what your problem us, but I am done dealing with this, you obviously are extremely angry for no apparent reason, and direct your anger here. Your posts will now go unread by me.

If you guys are going to feed the troll, try to make it interesting. Like, only do it using Reaper quotes. Given how many ITers are paying protheans attention, I think YOU HAVE THE ATTENTION OF THOSE INFINITELY YOUR GREATER is a good place to start.

You could write up any garbage

Like you are doing now?

...as long as it  didn't then retcon anything and it would still be a theory.
I think it is delusional you expect it to be more than that.

Wrong.

Theory - A supposition or a system of ideas intended to explain something using evidence.

Look it up before you spout misconceptions please. To have a theory, in anything really, it requires evidence to back it up. That's what IT has. That's why it's called a theory, we can't definitely prove it but we have the proof to suggest we are right. To do what you suggest in "write up any garbage" would be looked upon and then quickly disproven all cause it has no proof.

Haha, reminds me of the time that shepdog77 guy tried to get our thread moved to the "fan creation" forum. That was a good laugh.

I created a "petition to move the "petition to move the IT thread to fan creation forum""

Good times

Trolling trolls is the most noble and best kind of trolling.

“That which you know as Reapers are your salvation through destruction.”

But is our salvation through destruction of the reapers?

That line is very befitting.

I only recite points from the 5000 plus pages that was Mark 1 & 2.
