Because we are interested. We discover new things by discussion and seeing things from other points of view. We think of it as a puzzle made to be completed by a group. Also, there is a social aspect to it since we are friends and, you know, humans socialize. It's what we do, you know, on a discussion board about story discussion.

This is like asking us why we are discussing how to train dogs on a pet forum.

Oh yeah, what new things were discovered to warrant the last 300 pages?
Wouldn't it be more enjoyable and user friendly if you discussed it in a private forum, why do you feel the need to have this thread here on the main forum?

You mean other than because its our right to have a little chat here? Fine, I'll humor you.

This thread is built on public collaboration.  Any idea needs other people to thrive and you get the best ideas by allowing others to comment.  People who are genuinely interested in debating a topic will come in and offer new insights; the idea becomes stronger and more viable.

Believe it or not, those who disagree with us are welcome to come here if they aren't attacking others as delusional for choosing to take a different *interpretation* of a literay work.  Your disagreement is not constructive by any sense of the word.

There, I'm done wasting time.  If you want to learn more about what happens when people don't share/aren't allowed to share ideas, pick up a freaking history book that covers the Dark Ages.  See how that worked out for everyone

To show we are still here....and it's just easier this way for new people to contribute new ideas.

Why do you want to show you're still here?

So new people can come and contribute. I believe he said that already.

So the only reason you post here and keep this thread on the main pages despite nothing of value been added that gives the IT more evidence is so new people can contribute.

I swear I just gave you an example of something new recently and as Byne said, omega only came out last week...

...yet you still say nothing of value is added. Dude, give it a rest.

BatmanTurian, I just spent 10 minutes watching your signature. Love it

Numerous ones.
But the one most striking to me, some of you claim that the more time that pasts the more it proves IT.

I dont think you understand how evidence works.

I don't think it understands how doors work.

I dont know where you're getting the 'Nothing of value has been added' thing. Great stuff was found just yesterday.

And its not like we post to keep it on the front page. We post because we like discussing things.

Anyway, what happened to you going to bed?

Garrus is chuck norris, batman, and the punisher in space. it's true.

Yeah, I love it too. Truthfully, I stole it from someone else. I don't know who the original artist is.

Not just that. It's also for those already here who actually like the theory to be able to go over details we each individually missed and continue to contribute in other ways. As some others have already said earlier.

Hey speaking of that image above:

Wintersun - Starchild

I know what people have said. It's a stock image with their writing on it. Just as Mass Effect 3 uses stock imagery. Whatever.

It's nice, but it needs more actual Mass Effect related stuff rather than copy and pasted Chuck Norris jokes everyone has heard thousands (and thousands and thousands and thousands) of times.  For instance, I suggested "The Illusive Man wants to control the Reapers because he thinks he's finally found something that can protect him from Garrus Vakarian.  He's wrong."

Why do you feel the need to bump this thread for new posters to view it?

I usually listen to this while reading the rest of BSN. It's what I hear in my head while reading about how glorious our Reaper overlords are and that Synthesis and Control are awesome and not aiding the enemy.

I came up with one, "The Reapers tried to indoctrinate Shepard because they knew that if they tried to indoctrinate Garrus Vakarian his resistance would Destroy them in the real world."

Probably because, like Shale, I was devaluing the... creature by simply calling it "it" instead of gender-specific pronouns as higher forms tend to be.
