Same process as expansion packs kind of? It's blurry, but who wouldn't buy an IT DLC? It's like printing money

I've heard it's a growing trend in gaming. Otherwise, you'd have all the DLC and the ending when they game gets released. However, the game would take 4 years to make.

And what is wrong with taking 4 years to finish the game? That was not uncommon back in the days you know. Good stuff needs work. Of course EA doesn't care about good stuff, they just want money, and lots of it.

The only games I know that take 4+ years are TES games. And TES doesn't count. It's ****ing TES.

It wants attention.  I thought that much was obvious.

I know, but I need to hear or in this case, see from directly from their mou-er forum posts so that I can see through their perspective.

But likely I won't get a straight answer as I haven't seen any evidence of that yet.

Hate to break it to you, but that's how business works. If you don't make a profit, you go belly up. Every corporation is like that, otherwise they wouldn't be in business.

But let me ask you again: Do you support busines practices where they keep vital parts from the game, still charge 60 bucks for it and then try to sell you that vital part back, probably for 20 bucks?

I mean Day One DLC is one thing, but actually selling the ending of a series seperately? That's something new!  And I pray to Satan that it will never ever happen. The day that we'll have to pay extra for the ending of our game is a dark day indeed.

My laptop is like the crappiest laptop of all time. It freezes when I watch youtube videos. It runs Katawa Shoujo just fine.
