Maybe he's some combination thereof and we're Kyle or something. I dunno, it was the first fictional character that came to mind.GethPrimeMKII wrote...

Well, Hanar is just like that guy that hangs around to mess with you but for some reason you just don't care. He's like Stiffler or something.
He reminds me more of Eric Cartman.

Why not? Its pretty good.
My laptop is like the crappiest laptop of all time. It freezes when I watch youtube videos. It runs Katawa Shoujo just fine.

Good stuff needs work. Of course EA doesn't care about good stuff, they just want money, and lots of it.
Hate to break it to you, but that's how business works. If you don't make a profit, you go belly up. Every corporation is like that, otherwise they wouldn't be in business.
But let me ask you again: Do you support busines practices where they keep vital parts from the game, still charge 60 bucks for it and then try to sell you that vital part back, probably for 20 bucks?
I mean Day One DLC is one thing, but actually selling the ending of a series seperately? That's something new!And I pray to Satan that it will never ever happen. The day that we'll have to pay extra for the ending of our game is a dark day indeed.
You mean like they did for Arrival? Or like all of the gaming companies do with every DLC ever made?

Actually, many companies have been selling the real endings separately from the game now-a-days. Ubisoft, Capcom, and Square Enix (That the Final Fantasy dev, right?) spring to mind.

I remember paying $84.99 plus tax (American) for Final Fantasy III (VI) in 1994. That's 18 years of inflation and industry growth ago. You'll excuse me if I don't cry for your plight.

I don't know what the f*ck you're talking about but I never had to pay that much for Final Fantasy III. In my country games have only become more and more expensive over the years.
And I think I'll go at least as much back as you buddy. I still remember getting a Gameboy for my birthday the same year it got released. I'm certainly not new to gaming my friend.

Well from a business standpoint, it costs money to make DLC (you knew this, right?). So if it costs say $1 million in order to make something like Leviathan (just a guess), they have to make their money back somehow.
Would you rather they charge you $120 for a complete game, given that Mass Effect 3 is a milion times more complex than say, Mario Bros to make (from the 1980s or 1990s, can't remember)? People back in the 1990s were complaining why game were so insanely expensive. So they brought the price down by cutting some of the game at release.
DLC released after game ships trend

Darn, I went the the Katawa Shoujo website to download it, and apparently they would rather not have people under eighteen playing it. Which is a problem, since I'm only sixteen.

I indeed haven't. But honestly, summing up examples of games that might have done something as I just described certainly doesn't make it right. Selling incomplete games and trying to rip is off is a horrible thing to do. It's one of the reason why no longer buy ANYTHING from f*cking Capcom.

You mean those big giant gameboys? Those things were ****ing indestructible.
I left mine outside one night, and it rained extremely hard all night. The table I left it on got blown over and I found it on the ground in a puddle. Picked it up and turned it right on and started playing games.
Those were the best.
