To any planning on watching, I hope you will enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed making it!

Pretty good, I liked the idea that the dreams were intentionally timed to be jarring.

About the QEC's, I think they just changed it for narrative convenience, although it's a pity they dropped the scientific realism it originally had. I've no idea what to make of Hackett using traditional comms though, and that's the message with his face backwards.

and stabbing him in an eye while saying "this hurts you",then shepard jumps and does 360 no-scope to the rest of the reapers

ME4 would have Harbinger with an eye-patch as the villian

Lose at Earth and everything else falls incredibly quickly. My positive remarks on the galaxy's chances do not extend beyond what happens in Sol system. And even that requires an ace in the hole to work.

Honestly my best scenerio was always 'give Reapers a bloody nose and make them retreat'.  They are interested in self preservation, so causing them pain might make them rethink their attack.  Which would give the Galaxy time to recover and prepare.

Or more likely, forget it ever happened, and the Reapers come back in another 50,000 years.  Grim.

That is illogical in the Reapers' POV.
The Reapers are all-in. If they do not destroy/harvest this cycle and leave clues behind for the next (what they do thanks to Liara) organics will be able to replenish and organize a defense against the Reapers, who cannot replenish in dark space.
I think retreat is no option for the Reapers.

I guess that is the one flaw in the Reapers plan. When they go in they have to go balls deep.

Which makes proper preparation and suprise all the more important.

Well isn't this interesting. Our friend The Protheans who was so entertaining last night, has also decided to troll the Synthesis thread:

The Protheans said...

Damn that is sad.
I would hate to have been changed into an abomination just because some fool wanted to violate the galaxy without it's consent
Changing me into having different views and transforming my body into something disgusting.

No, no it can not be forced.
This is essentially a NWO or in this case a NGO and it's not fun.
Your life as you knew it is over, you have no freedom.

At least he/she is being fair and even handed in winding everybody up. While I've no love for synthesis, I wouldn't go into their thread and criticise it just to annoy people. I will never understand why some people get a kick out of being a bit of a jerk on the internet?

It's the same as it was pre-EC. Not completely, but just the spinny thing gets knocked out.

Yes, the relays blow up in each low EMS ending.

Ok. So it is like that - all we see happening after each choice - is a representation of Shepard's mind - the galaxy is shepard, his brain. The connections between relays - are synapses amd connections between them - what we see is happenning - idoctrination is either spreading through all the brain, or getting pruged from it violently - in Low ems version connections get overloaded and broken - which leads to brain damage. High ems is the same, only the damage not so severe - the brain get's overloaded and shuts down - and then is being rebooted.

And for those who ask what is the point of reapers indoctrinating Shepard, instead of just killing him - they are killing him! the process kills him in most of the outcomes.

1/ The former.  Anderson never survives that scene, but if you keep him alive a little longer...  Nothing changes.  But if he dies earlier (by TIM shooting him) you effectively lose 1000 EMS when it comes to whether or not you get the Breath Scene.

2/ Its never outright stated, but I don't think they've served together very long.  I think they know each other more by reputation.  Anderson picks Shepard as his XO on the Normandy, otherwise not much is known (that I know of).

Thanks. That's what I thought, but just needed a clarification/confirmation.

The Relays only exploding at low EMS makes no sense. Even if the Crucible was legit, why would that effect them in such a manner? They are still the same tech, able to withstand the same stresses.

Mind you, there's so much wrong with the 'literal' endings that pointing at any one thing feels like nitpicking.

How does anyone even survive in Low EMS destroy, for instance.

Shame there's not a low EMS Synthesis.  Everyone gets turned into a really crappy cyborg and looks like Quasimodo.

And low EMS Control.  Would that make ReaperShep really hurpdurp where he accidently orders the Reaper fleet to continue the harvest?

How about a Mako with Hammerhead thrusters, that fires mini-Thresher Maws?  And is gunned by Grunt.
