However usually entangled pairs share opposite spins. Since electrons are mostly used and they are fermions (means only a pair can occupy the same orbital with opposite spins), I guess that is the reason for the point-to-point way of QEC. I am not sure if that's how it works, though.
Maybe molecules and atoms with a nuclear spin that allows more than two states could actually create a network??? Gee, I should really refresh my quantum mechanics...

I haven't even seen CW3.  Or 2.  Or 1.  I don't care much for youtube fan documentaries.  I'm just sick and tired of Megumi's "poor me" act after listening to it for 3 months.  Just like most everyone else.

Fascinating stuff. My physics education ended at A-level so all things Quantum are a bit over my head though.

They're saying it's suspiciously lore breaking for the Normandy to have QEC connections to multiple points, all of which suffer intereference.

No, not really. They just point out the oddities that several people can communicate with it. They freak out over hexagonal texture (apparantly it was also used on the SB ship) and blue holograms, but leave you without any conclusion. The typical "the truth is somewhere out there" attitude you can also see in their posts in this thread.

Because that'd be fairly disappointing.

For the record I've never seen Rif whine about his life. I recall someone calling him disabled but never read him whine about anything. 

I don't think I've read Megumi whine either, though I haven't been on at the same time since she went literal
