I remember months ago someone said they think Hellish believes we're still unconscious next to Object Rho. Is that they way CW seems to be heading?

Because that'd be fairly disappointing.

That'd be kind of lol.  That whole theory came from someone misreading a dev comment.  They talked about Arrival and Shepard going back for trial and how the Reapers attacked Earth while Shepard was doing that.  They thought the dev meant while Shepard was doing Arrival, while they meant while Shepard was doing the trial bit.

After 3 times of saying "we will reveal a grand new theory" they still only show old stuff that doesn't seem to be related.

False hope

Naww, so you thought insulting others who had hope that may or may not be false was the way to go? ;)

Arrival is not canonical, nothing to worry about

The comics beg to differ.

Yes, that really would be Patrick-Duffy-in-the-shower territory.

The problem is that what you do and don't do in the game is canon for that Shep.
They had the default story in sync (who died etc), but the default ME3 and the comics are not.

No it's not, Mass effect 3 clearly shows this.

Nope, in the game it is not

That seems to be the case. Ep 3 has scenes from Arrival peppered throughout. Then there's comments like this "We are not creating these episodes to answer the questions for you, but only providing the thematic and visual context so you can find the answers for yourself. What you need to know to follow the path to the truth is there, buried in the data." <_<

No it's not, Mass effect 3 clearly shows this.

Since the comics are canon, if your shep didnt do Arrival, you're technically playing a non-canon Shep.

But those Sheps aren't true sheps. The devs have said DLC is canon. Those who haven't played through the DLC dont have canonical Sheps.

Since the comics are canon, if your shep didnt do Arrival, you're technically playing a non-canon Shep.

Which would make a default ME3 Shep noncanon which is rather nonsensical too.

But the canon default starting shepard didn't do Arrival.
So it can't be canon.

And as we know comics are less than the games.

FailShep being non-canonical is in no way surprising. It just continues its trend of failure and fails at canon.

No, it rewards players who played through ME1-3...as they're the true Shepards

They don't even try to hide the game is based around Shepard having done Arrival. Instead of being in the brig for Arrival, you're in there, and I quote, "all the **** you've done." What **** is that exactly?

Well, i don't think it is this way
Aria and Liara's comics, for example, are canon, because we do not control them, with Shep is different
