Wrex can die too. That's non-canon, and I believe that's the default ME2 and 3 state too, isn't it?
Garrus can die. Tali can die. Etc. All non-canon.

Since the comics are canon, if your shep didnt do Arrival, you're technically playing a non-canon Shep.
Well, i don't think it is this way
Aria and Liara's comics, for example, are canon, because we do not control them, with Shep is different
Its not even a comic about Shep. Its about Vega. It just mentions Shep blew up the Relay.
Its like the entire reason Vega is guarding Shep.
Without Arrival Vega has no reason to be there.

While this is a statement againt story-critical DLC, not doing Arrival is like Bilbo not finding the One Ring in the middle of The Hobbit, but Frodo still goes to Mordor. No reason given, he just does.

But he was running around in Citadel sp--oh no wait, it was the Terminus systems. Oh, and Hackett was stonewalling even an investigation of Shepard working with Cerberus.
Huh. I bet Shepard would have to do something huge to get arrested. Like blow up a star system.

No, they got a leave of absence, which Shep doesn't have. He was dead? Irrelevant, she should have called immediately and report for duty instead of doing business with a terror group.byne wrote...

Yeah, i know
Well i still think that the comics are just canon for someone, for someone else they are not, it doesn't change the fact that everyone story is canon......anyway i have Arrival

During ME3 Vega talks about fighting a batarian and landing on him while falling from a building, that happened in Conviction and in that comic Shepard is under custody because of Arrival.byne wrote...

If anyone else said that, you'd go on a 5 page rant about them not being able to be certain because they don't know the exact laws of a fictional military. Then you'd go on about how children in sweatshops don't know your pain because they haven't seen people on a message board give the impression that they feel superior to you.

And if Shep retains his Spectre status (which is probably canon) then he doesn't have to answer to the Alliance for taking command of a Cerberus vessel.

Problem is...
Shepard reported to the Council at that stage. Which you can do very quickly in the game.
Shepard isn't back in the Alliance until ME3, wasn't in the Alliance all of ME2, and was only in the Alliance during the beginning of ME1. Shepard has been a Spectre first and foremost all that time.
