I also had a thought about the term 'grasping at straws'.

I don't think its as detrimental as people make out. If you can't see something, you grasp for it. And things can be hidden under a thin layer - such as straw. And grasping for something that's hidden is better then declaring nothing is hidden and its pointless to even look.

So sure, we're grasping at straws. But everyone else is crossing their arms and stubbornly refusing to do anything by complain at the situation they are in. I prefer grasping, thanks all the same. Something might actually be found that way.

I just can't see fem Shepard cry, but male Shepard yes.

Also, I think Meer is a good actor, but I dont think he is given good direction for Shepard. He seems to be trying to hard to be a stoic soldier, but thats just my opinion.

A friend from the DA2 boards had mentioned to me that somebody asked the writers if it was a bug that Danarius uses the feminine walking animation.  They said it's not, and hinted that Fenris might have been more than a regular slave to Danarius.  I thought about it for a minute and said, "At least he can't say he never got to stick it to the man?"  She said there's times when she doesn't know if she wants to laugh, or smack me.

I got nothing against Male Shepard, and Cortez, or Kadin, just for me I never wanted my Shepard to get with another guy. That even goes for my Fem Shepard does girls, but not guys. For me I can't play as a girl/ fem Shepard, and not get with a male. For me it's wrong because well I am a guy, and the way I play my Shepard is the way I act in real life.

And ya it really doesn't matter who is better. Both are great, but you like Fem shepard more, as I like male Shepard more to play as.

Oh and what if your Shepard get's Indoctrinated kills his/her mother....?

A lot of scenes where I see both MaleShep and Femshep speak the same line, it doesn't seem so much that one is "better" than the other rather that they apply each scene with very different tones. It makes me wonder if Bioware intentionally directed Meer and Hale to do this so that if someone replays the game under a different gender/alignment/class, they get that much more of a different experience.
