Pretty much. I'm going to ignore HH now, because someone who refuses to accept even the possibility of Bioware not being terrible writers can't possibly hope to understand what IT is, and that's not even getting to whether it could be valid or not.
To truely understand IT you have to both understand the themes and messages of the series, as well as believe that Bioware are very good story tellers, and fully capable of pulling it off. If someone believes there's "bad writing" then they're incapable of objectively weighing evidence. HH believes bad writing is a fact, and therefore he cannot ever fully understand what IT is.

Yeah, and you know what? the movie itself revealed who Söze was in the end. No fan theory came up with it. The movie itself revealed it.
Actually, that's wrong. It's heavily implied who Soze actually is. The signs point to who it is, the protagonist believes they've figured out who it is, but it's never actually confirmed who it is. It's not explicitly revealed. The viewer is simply given enough material to decide they finally know who it is for themselves.

If we don't get a proper reveal, then I bet that's pretty much what we'll have.

"If I decide to overtake humanity, you'll be the first to know"
it's the same reverse psychology used by terminator on john connor.
now lets ponder:
Was she ever lie?
do you feel it's suspicious for her to insist being ashore during cerberus mission,
she even emphasize to Shepard what would happen if she didn't came along (vented out, crit mission failure)
do you feel a bit "eh" when she really took her time unlocking a door just to give Shepard time watching some "vids you might find interesting", one of shepard's reconstruction project, her origin, and then, Illusive man fate. Partial information and convenient enlightement smells like a hidden agenda to me, or perhaps just childish curiosity like when a kid revealing a parrent of her vandalism with a ta-dah.

It always comes down to this with literalists. They ignore the encyclopedia of clues that led us to this conclusion and then just go, "derp y u u no tink dey bad riters?"
Because we PAID ATTENTION, that's why. Try it sometime.

Doesn't the writing reflect on the entire trilogy.
If you can't end a story and nothing really makes sense, doesn't that mean you did a bad job overall.
