Megumi seriously needs to use a word that isn't "know". This is a literary interpretation.

@Paxxton that's what I wanna know

Which post are you referring to? The one about the geth prime in London? What do you want to know about it?

When I was talking about Jacob and Thanes character writers

I remember Patrick Weekes caught off-guard at PAX in April saying that everybody on the Citadel is ok after the Reaper takeover. Yeah, right.

i think it's safe to assume that TIM is getting support from high ranking personnel within the Alliance Military.

Hackett is the head of Cerberus, as the story goes.

Who told you that?

That would be quite awesome if it was true. Sadly, it isn't.

I think there was once that thread on BSN written in all capital letters. That or Hackett is a Reaper.

it's really hard to start a discussion..

I'll try to point something out:
If we assume that the rotation is still intact, opening the Wards like a flower would inflict those poor bastards at the farest point of the Wards in respect to the Presidium with a centripetal force of about 4g. You can survive that, but it is really not that comfortable.
You could explain the gravity in the decision chamber with some kind of mass effect and the atmosphere with kinetic barriers (not that I'd do that).
But you cannot explain the breath scene.

Whatever you calculated there you can see the tower and bridge are still standing. If shields would have failed they would have been just flicked away.
Thus you can explain the breath scene.

Quantum shields shield the superstructure not a poor bastard at ground zero...

Which you cannot prove. Same as you cannot prove Shep is in London/on Earth for the scene.

Wrong:
"The relays are made of an unknown but incredibly resilient material, the same material that the Citadel
is built from, and are protected by a quantum shield that renders them
nearly impervious to damage by locking their structure in place at the
subatomic level"

---B-b-b-b-ut you cannot know...

The concept sounds quite similar to Greed's Ultimate Shield, where he rearranges the carbon atoms in his body to match the density of diamond.

Why do people here keep comparing the Synthesis ending with the reapers turning organics into goo? IT'S NOT THE SAME THING!

You're right.  The goo thing only affects some people.  Synthesis affects everyone.  Synthesis is far worse.

If the area Shepard is in is protected, why is it reduced to rubble?

There can still be enough force which with the right angles does not crush Shep.

As far as I can tell, those explosions come from within the Citadel itself, that'd do it. I'm pretty sure the huge, 15km-wide explosion is the Crucible blowing up.

Lol I know right, but from what I saw in the Jacob romance in ME3, it looks like they did forget he was an LI

Or it only happened in Shepard's head and he's not 100% on the science of it?

Your lack of understanding of Mass Effect's themes is why you don't understand IT.

Thanks, so an explosion from outside cannot break it but an explosion from inside with less force could. Thus shields protecting from outside are closer to be the right answer. QED.

Does it matter? Synthesis still isn't the same thing as reaperfication, which we can clearly see in the Synthesis epilogue.

Your lack of understanding the difference between Synthesis and reaperfication is why you don't honestly answer my question. That or you're just trolling.
