If it goes on that way, then this is very likely.

Also, I agree:

And I still say the EC was a shiny bell to jingle in front of their brain dead fanbase until they go for the glory!

And you too still seem to miss the point.

Look at Megumi's post. She's kinda close to unvealing the point I TRIED to make clear. Reading her post might get you on the right track.

I got it the first time. Entirely subjective

Remember, absolute power....  [Though I'll admit slight hypocrisy on my part since I chose the Synthesis ending in Deus Ex.  However, since the future is headcanon powered, my headcanon says that J.C./Helios ruled benevolently for many years before going on the use his/its powers to create a direct democracy (Basically, the J.C. ending of DX: Invisible War.)]

You're the one hellbent on proving something doesn't make sense.

I have proven it.  You're the ones desperately clinging to this bull**** excuse that BW never endorsed, let alone gave themselves.  And even when confronted with the fact that they look exactly like shell casings and nothing like heatsink chips, and are even CALLED casings, you still cling to this delusion.  This conversation has done more to make me doubt IT than anything people like Hanar have ever said.

They look the same as when Zaeed ejected his onto Vido to me. Posted Image

Here, try this.  It's a close-up from UE Viewer.  Sadly it doesn't have the texture on it but the shape is pretty clear about what it is.

Or maybe subverting an interesting antagonist into a servant of the most interesting antagonists shows just how interesting the most interesting antagonists really are.

I wouldn't say the reapers are the most interesting antagonists...

Also, TIM wasn't an antagonist.

And again, you're missing the points. Why are only antagonists turned into indoctrinated servants? Why not the good guys? I said it before and I'll say it again: Indoctrination as it is right now is a cop-out.

You fail to realize that you lack a point. You saying you opinion; you think indoctrination is lame. That's great. I won't stop you, but it's not an argument at all.

See you all later.

His point was indoctrination made interesting antagonists into lame servants of evil.

You mean made interesting antagonists into servants of even more interesting antagonist s?

By becoming lame themselves, so instead of two interesting ones we get one. Seriously TIMs performance just wasn't what it used to be, even if his appearances were quite good.

Maybe I misunderstand you, but Martin Sheen's voice acting in ME3 is some of the best VA work I've ever heard, especially in the Citadel confrontation.

I said TIM's performance. Sheen's performance is just... perfect.
Like always

Well, I guess I'll just have to INTERPRET it differently than you do.  I still say it's a heat sink like the ones ejected by the YMIR mech.  Also, here's a thought, could you go into the model viewer and see what the file in ME2 for the heat sinks ejected by the YMIR mech is called?  You know, just to make sure that it hasn't ALWAYS been called that.

who says none of the good guys are indoctrinated?  I've been supporting indoctrination of peeps like Hackett for a while.  People in positions of power are more than likely indoctrinated.

Or interesting protagonists into tragic servants of evil.... ;)

Which doesn't happen.

It does in my interpretation of the endings....   And if they intended an ending that was open to interpretation and headcanon-ing, then IT is a perfectly valid way to look at the endings.  Remember Chris's post?

And I still said they ruined it with the EC. That part was perfectly fine before.

Only you see it like that.

Yeah, only me and a lot of other people... they just did that a lot sooner after the release of the EC.

Why do inherently bad people fall to the power of the dark side? Gee, I wonder.

Yes, TIM was always an antagonist, you liking him doesn't change that.

I don't see why you hate IT then.  We're suggesting that it's possible for the Big Good of the series, the PLAYER CHARACTER him-/her-self, to be indoctrinated.  And we fully acknowledge that it's possible for other good guys to be indoctrinated.

Also, not only did Chris say that it's a valid interpretation, but I believe Mike Gamble did as well in a tweet.  I won't go digging for it, but I KNOW he said it was valid.

Yes, and I would agree, as I see it from the vanilla game that it was their intention. But they made a mistake.

That does seem to make some sense though. I mean, this is the finale where we fight the reapers so it would make sense to heavily utilize Indoctrination for all - if not most of - the foes in the game.

But you are right, the way bioware used indoctrination was kinda silly.

why did Udina betray us again?  Indoctrinated
Why is cerberus fighting me?  Indoctrinated

It would have been much more intense if we had to kill an Indoctrinated Dr Michele or team mate or even have us fight enemies that are not indoctrinated but rather just trying to survive.

but hey, just my thoughts

Ah, so indoctrination is a choice now? Riiiiiiiiiight.

Or are you trying to say indoctrination only works on bad people? That's even more silly. I guess the reapers and their indoctrination aren't that fearsome and powerful after all, are they?
