Be a thief. It's one of the best storylines, in my opinion. Also, don't side with the imperials. Remember, they tried to decapitate you just for crossing a border.

The Stormcloaks claim to fight the Thalmor, but in doing so they weaken the Empire and lessen the chance anyone has of resisting should they attack again.

Even Ulfric understands how shortsighter he was if you kill him before doing the main quest. You can find him in Sovngarde where he tells you that.

Hell, even the Thalmor think that having Ulfric around makes them stronger.

Ulfric's only use is to kill him and then raise him as a Dead Thrall, then have him help you slaughter the remaining Stormcloaks.

Prothean biotics are green. I'm assuming Shepard's is too just because it's a bonus power. Then they were all like:
"Hey that doesn't really make sense, so let's make it standard blue in MP."
I hope they add Protheans in MP though, when they're done with the SP tie-ins.

Okay I just created a poll about the Codexes on do you think they are good, and one person said I don't play games to read. I play games to blow stuff up. Well looks like that's why people don't get anything in ME at all because they don't pay attention to the story or read the codexes to learn more about ME and the plots.

I am under the impression it wasn't really to do that either.

The primary reason I sided with the Imperials in my only finished playthrough was because with the threat of oblivion invading again due to the extinction of the Septims, Tamriel needs to be united now more then ever. I didn't consider the elven national socialists invading again. And then I found out Ulfrics backstory after finishing that part of the game. Really the empires only problems are Thalmor appeasement and one captain trying to execute a bystander.

The Empire isnt even really appeasing the Thalmor. They basically told the Nords 'Hey, dont worship Talos, or you'll be a very naughty boy! We wont enforce the ban though!'

Then Ulfric stirred **** up, and they actually had to enforce the ban to keep the Thalmor from becoming too suspicious.

I'm pretty sure Rif once explained this better than I just did.

I wonder if there'll be DLC about the Thalmor, or if they'll be in the inevitable sequel. I don't think we ever found out why they did any of that stuff except for the evulz.
