I generally do too. To the point that I've never once punched the reported in any of the ME games, because it'd make me feel bad.
I dont know why I dont find a problem with the Dark Brotherhood.
Yeah i can relate to that. Never found Dark Brotherhood hard to complete in Oblivion and Skyrim, but put me in any other game and you have the biggest goody two shoes.
To relate to the Mount & Blade example I have the game Valkyria Chronicles which puts you in charge of a military squad during a war. It is possible to loose members of your squad permanently if you dont evacuate them when they get wounded and I set out to not loose a single one.
The result was when the credits rolled and the KIA list came up I only had one character on it...a character you cant avoid loosing and one of the most sudden and saddest deaths ever for me in a videogame...anyone who has played the game should know who i refer to.
But it was my goody two shoes part which made ME3´s end choice hard. I dident want to sacrifice the Geth and EDI and it almost blinded me. But then I remembered Legion words, his describtion of what his people sought...the opputunity to choose their own future...and did what I had to do.
