It's clearly not PTSD, because Chambers and that Asari are perfect counter examples.

The child in the dreams could represent the people Shepard could not save. Yet Shepard has not acted like that when the VS died, or any innocent person other than the child. On top of that, it's connection to the Reapers is confirmed when the "Catalyst" takes the form of that very child.

The PTSD one makes me rage.  So sick of everyone in the world thinking they're a psychologist because they heard Jerry Springer say homophobes are in the closet.

I didn't cure the genophage and didn't forge the geth-quarian alliance so it all did not happen.

Then your Shepard sucks.  What does this have to do with the fact that most fans were happy to finally get the chance to do those things after 2 games of build up?

I couldn't have cured the genophage with Wreave in power and Tali just jumped off the cliff (I wanted to save her though).

I just don't have a problem with Shepard waking up in Vancouver even if what I'm saying doesn't make sense. lol

EDIT: Although in my current trilogy playthrough I saved Wrex so we'll see what happens in ME3. And I'll try to forge the alliance between geth and the quarians.

Joker's sister Hillary.  That girl the PTSD asari killed so that she wouldn't get caught and killed.  Before she was rescued and decided to kill herself.

He's talking about her in ME1, if I remember right. It's been quite some time since I played ME1.
