Bloody choked on my food when I read this. Batman you crack me up.

Also, I read that in Garrus voice for some reason.

Because they keep slandering Garrus by comparing him to that scrub Batman.

I just threw the name together, something I could remember because he was like Batman+Punisher on Omega as Archangel. Garrus is obviously more awesome.

The Punisher's probably a better example.  Still not in Garrus' league, but my main gripe with the Batman-Garrus comparisons that are so popular is that Batman doesn't have the testicular fortitude to kill a guy who blows up hospitals for giggles.  Garrus would be sipping tea from his skull without a second thought.

I try to read everyone's posts in their avatars' voice. It's fun!

I'm curious what voice mine gets then.

Agreed, he's just more paragon than Punisher though, so he's some wierd mix in-between. Also, the Punisher didn't have sidekicks. At least, I don't think he did. He worked alone.

I hear either Lewis Black or George Carlin in my head usually. Depends on what kind of day you seem to be having.

I just read yours in House's voice. Posted Image

Edit: Hmm George Carlin. I should try that too. Here's something you won't like: I think Javik's voice/tone suits you. Posted Image

Something like this, because I imagine that's what a honey badger would maybe sound like.

+1. I wonder how they sound to you with the more...exotic avatars that are not the usual standard we're given.  Like Rif, paxxon, or hanar's

I read yours in this voice because I think you sound like that, and because I've never heard a female batarian. Posted Image

This one is in denial. This one knows the end is bad writing. It is offended that you think otherwise.

Also, Pax's avatar is still Shepard, like mine.

Hmmm... wikipedia just told me something.

Mass Effect. It's the medical term for a growing mass' secondary effects upon the body, especially the brain. Said mass could be a tumor or it could be a giant blood clot, either way it puts more and more pressure upon the body and causes a slew of problems.

Indoctrination is our brain tumor. Altered perception and behavior are the mass effects.

It always seems that there are multiple meanings for something in this trilogy. And it is always relevant.

Yeah. It's not a perfect fit, but it works better than Batman. Batman's mostly hand-to-hand fighting too, whereas Garrus keeps a gun in his gun so he can shoot while he's shooting. Yo dawg and all that. Though I'm not big into comics so I only know a generic description of the Punisher. Eternally pissed at the loss of... family, I think? So he goes around and guns down people who need gunning down. Big over the top skull on his shirt. That's about all I know.

Interesting. I'm leaning toward coincidence, but it'd be nice to be surprised.

Well that's interesting. The choose wisely vid addresses something significant. Why as spectres we are not allowed to carry weapons on the citadel yet the c-sec officers are allowed?

"Fires of Liberation"... wow, shame another game already got that tagline. That's the perfect title for the destroy explosion.

A hub area having you in casual clothes doesn't mean you're not allowed to have weapons.  By that logic, Shepard's not allowed weapons on the Normandy.

but the Normandy is like a house. You're not needing to carry it 24/7, yet the citadel is full of incidences where weapons are needed, yet after those you're not allowed still. Aren't specters above the law, answerable to only the citadel council?

I dont think Shep is allowed weapons on the Normandy. Unless I have to have a full body scan just for fun everytime I leave the war room.

@byne- can you explain why that scanner is only protecting the conference area, the crucible construction area, and the comm room?

Wouldn't it make more sense to put it next to the airlock so you can protect more areas? I can see someone walking on the Normandy with "no weapons" but sabotaging the engines or the galaxy map or the cockpit because the scanner is in and protecting the area that needs it the least

I try to read my sarcastic posts in Bill Murray's voice before submitting them. The more feisty ones I read in Dennis Leary's. I use Robert Goulet's when I'm going for sexy

Hellish is grasping at straws again.  It's segregation of gameplay and storyline.  There's no reason to walk around the Citadel armored and armed, so you don't.  When you go into the shooting range, it all magically appears.  When Bau needs to shoot an indoctrinated jellyfish and his bodyguard, he pulls a gun out of his ass.  Spectres can carry guns wherever the hell they want.

And the "scanner" on the Normandy is a poorly disguised loading screen.  Try disabling clipping and running through it sometime if you want to see why it's there.
