ME1 and ME2 renegades you could have a discussion about, but not ME3.

I almost always sabotage the genophage cure. So?

I don't think any renegade is evil. Quite the opposite, in fact. They seem more like professional soldiers than paragons.

Aw, come on don't tell me you always go for pure paragon, it's boring. I cured the genophage, and made peace between geth/quarians.
Batarians on the other hand...
And you can discover new stuff in the renegade route.

Back to on topic:

I just realized something. I'm with the crowd that mostly believes in IT for story reasons. The circumstantial evidence is cool, but not important for me. I simply can't believe the point of the story is that Shepard was wrong all along and TIM/Saren were right.

What I realized is that (no matter how ridiculous it may be) even if Shepard is actually on the Citadel, even if the breath scene takes place on the Citadel, then I'm still 100% convinced that the choices being presented to Shepard are an attempt to indoctrinate him.

Synthesis and Control just can't be valid options from a story perspective.

In other words, for me, the IT does not hinge on where the breath scene takes place, even though I wholeheartedly believe it's London.

To be fair, killing Legion or killing the quarians arent renegade or paragon options. They're just what happens when you've screwed up too much to attain peace.

My hardcore renegade character got them to ally by telling the quarians that she was tired of their ****, and that if they didnt knock off the crap, she'd gladly watch them burn.

My paragon characters do that too, though. They're pretty tired of the quarians being stupid.

ADDITION: Also, both had their history with TIM/Harper.

I have no qualms about shooting a machine, especially one that just tried to kill me.
