Well gwyphon I was the smartest person in my history class in 7th grade and I did a project on Communism and the people I had to work with on the project well...Wanted kkk and other stuff I haven't heard and they wanted to name the Communist country f*** off.
So I took the project home after they did all the work and I redid everything and made 3d models off a a fort and I did this all in 8 hours, and this was a project we been working on for a month.

Now, I may be misunderstanding something here, but how does a fort link with communism? That's actually something I'd like to know.

Was it ever explained why Cerberus invades the citadel? It kind of occured to me that a reason was never given. Either that or I recently forgot it.

No idea what you're talking about.

Never explained. I suspect we'll find out when we retake Omega because I'm sure it was the same reason there.

Okay.
What I took away was: Organics and Synthetics don't know the 'truth' behind everything. And all we did in the 99% of ME1-ME3 was following the wrong goal. And yeah, indoctrination reveals the truth.
Every player shall decide for his and her own interpretation whether that is a legit and likely interpretation. <_<

Well, the codex explained it.
From the codex...
Councilor Udina's attempted coup will no doubt be analyzed for generations to come, but a clear picture is beginning to merge. Udina had contacted Cerberus to coordinate what was intended to be a bloodless takeover of the Citadel, in which he would force the other councilors to grant him emergency powers so that he could command the Citadel Fleet. He would then direct the fleet to liberate his homeworld, Earth.
Whether or not that makes any sense is another matter, but the codex did give an explanation.

At face value, to kill the Council an seize power.
But if the Illusive Man was already under Reaper control...
Edit: ninja'd, dammit byne didn't you leave?
That codex entry is BS, do you remember what cerberus does to Veetor if you hand him to them? the Council was dead.
