If you'll notice, I did ignore her for quite a while.  It didn't work.  About a week ago I got sick of biting my tongue until it bled since he wasn't doing any good anyway.

It is very hard to ignore certain people who post far more then anyone else, and also post in huge walls of text.

The reason reconciliation seems to be out of reach is Megumi's starting premise that she has found irrefutable and fatal flaws to the behemoth that is IT. She concludes that our inability to view her arguments as correct is childish and ignorant, and that we can't face the truth. She feels it is her duty to force us out of our complacency and reexamine everything. And she feels she has been unfairly criticized and insulted for it. Where do you go from there?

I think her points merit discussion, but they are not as undeniable as she thinks. This is the crux of the schism. She thinks she's absolutely proven IT wrong, and has made it her mission to impose this conclusion on everyone else

The question is are they just there for symbolism, are they considered a lucky charm in universe, or  do they have some actual leviathan/reaper stopping effect.

If the latter my prediction for 'true ending' DLC is you send Harbinger a bunch of flowers, thus winning the war.
