The whole thing with Jack, Legion and Morinth all coming back to haunt you reminds me a bit of Diablo 3 where demonic minions try to trick you into thinking they are ghosts of people who died earlier in the game coming back to haunt you.

Of course, because its Diablo 3, there's zero actual roleplaying and you just kill them.

Bioware did that long ago with original Baldur's Gate.

Yup.  Its a classic storytelling trope, but it still catches people by suprise.

Like their death quotes in the dream sequences.

That's a much more subtle variation, yep.  Though strangely the whispers are seemingly more benign, so possibly that's Shepard's subconscience fighting back against the taint.  None of those whispers blame Shepard for their deaths, infact most of them seem glad to have done their part.

I just call them death quotes because how they sound like ghosts. Some of them, like "Shepard Commander, help us" gave me goosebumps the way its said.

Although Legion's "ghost" says "Does this unit have a soul? Do we not deserve life?" or words to that effect, which could be taken as the indoctrination taint turning you away from harming synthetics and towards the seemingly more peacable control or synthesis.

And again someone who wants to start a fight while saying I started it.

I just gave 2 examples which are mess ups by Shep that don't wait for that mission to resolve.

"In the entire series there's only 3 times we have to kill old 'friends' because we made incredibly bad decisions, and they ALL happen right at the very end of 3."
This sentence is just completely false. There is no way around that.

I was wondering if I was the only one remembering that shade in Throne of Bhaal.  Hehe.  One of the reasons I loved the Tashia mod was she actually called that thing on its BS rather than have a mental breakdown.

You know, I don't think any of us have the ability to say with absolute certainty that one explanation IS right about ANYTHING odd in ME3. Is it a possibility that they ran out of time? Yes, but can we KNOW that's right without BioWare telling us? It's the same way with IT. Is it a strong possibility? Yes, but can we KNOW that it's right without BioWare telling us? No, and I think we're ALL starting to take this thing WAY too seriously. Remember the days when we would just hang out chatting about weird stuff in ME3 and only getting into serious arguments with trolls? I think we should go back to those days. They were so much nicer.

I'm torn on the issue myself.  Some of the 'unfinished' parts make no sense - like the 2D sprites, if it wasn't finished why take the time to put those in and not leave it blank?

Only thing I know they definately dropped the ball on is the face importer and the mission journal.  Utter garbage.

i'm putting this up one more time since it got drowned out by an argument and I'm getting off in a few minutes.

I have a question for you guys.
I'm thinking on working on a thread that shows the similarities between the Reapers and the Homunculi. It will go into great detail and explain their creation, powers, and purpose really efficiently and in great detail. My question is: Would you guys like to read it when I'm done?

Edit: never mind. I'll ask again once this argument has passed. I'm just going to assume yes until then and start watching. See you guys later.

It always opened in a seemingly random location, forcing you to scroll for ages to find what you wanted, and didn't update to show you had completed a quest.

Other peeves of mine include the infamous Shepxorcist bug.

So what should Shep do? Ask indoctrinated Jack, or Banshee Morinth to wait a minute and talk this over?
Dunno about Legion but if you sell it do you even get the Geth VI?

Which is why I merely said I don't give a vorcha's ass what she thinks of my theory and left it at that.  There's no point in arguing it.  Or anything else with her.

Was really referring to the doppelganger scene inside the Candlekeep during the first Baldur's Gate. But yeah, that too.

Javik: In my cycle, we did not allow our spines to dictate--
Shepard: <turns head around 180 degrees> Dictate what?

What's that got to do with anything? You're forced to physically shoot them yourself. Reapers breaking you down...killing old acquaintances...

What is the "Shepxorcist bug"?
And no never had that bug, maybe the scrolling thing, dunno but I don't remember and even if the mousewheel scrolls through all of it in about a second.

Little less drama time? Remember, you need at least two for the quarrel. And before you say anything to other, consider how you would take the same words from hm/her.

And grow a thicker skin people.

It's the bit when you first visit Liara in her cabin, and Shep's head spins around like a top as he follows Glyph's movements. Doesn't exactly help immersion. There's a couple of other bugs where characters voices emerge from empty space because their models don't draw in.

Re: journal. Technically an Omega bug, but last playthrough I screwed up and missed one of the hacking terminals on Omega. Damn thing stayed in my active quests list the entire rest of the game. Couldn't get rid of it because there's no way back to Omega. =/
