So how many marks do you think this theory will reach?

We'll go through as many as we have to go through to reach the truth.  BioWare can't keep this, "Maybe it's true, maybe it's just an interpretation," BS going forever.  Eventually, either they'll have to declare IT as nothing more than an interpretation of the ending, or they'll have to declare it as being the truth.  Currently, they haven't said one way or the other.

Well said even if not necessarily true.

 Are you saying he really is Sean Connery?

If this is true then I need to, uh, meat him. Yes. For science.

IT.
Bringing people together.

Also, do people have their packs from the operation yet?

Not yet.  I figure we'll get them later this week, though it's possible that they're going out today, and Origin just hasn't "refreshed" yet.

Does anyone else feel like something epic is going to happen tomorrow when we.. get down to business?

I'm 29 so you're not even the second oldest and I doubt I'm second.

I think the majority on here are early twenties (although I may be horribly wrong - Dwailing was much younger than I expected )

Just for those people asking if the packs are out yet, apparently they will throw up a countdown at the top of the page when the packs come out counting down a week (when the packs expire). So until that countdown starts it's safe to assume they aren't out yet.

I get that sometimes. Posted Image  My only problem is that it can occasionally be a difficult to interact with other teenagers.  I just don't feel like I have anything to add to the conversation at times. Posted Image

Did anyone mention/notice that the present on the vancouver map is from one of the early mp leaks? Or datamining. One of those.

Let me rephrase that.  They can't keep this, "Maybe it's true, maybe it's an interpretation," BS going forever if they expect to keep part of their fan base.

Oh, I know that feeling. There aren't many people around me that are interested in the same thing I am. I mean, I doubt any of my comrades would like to discuss Seneca, Aristoteles and Machiavelli with me...

They also can’t keep the "Maybe it's true, maybe it's just an interpretation,” BS going if they wish to continue moving forward with the IP as a whole. If they wish to just do prequels in  the future then they could get away with it possibly, but if they wish to set games in the future they’re going to have to create a canon ending.

FFZero. They can always do a KOTOR TSL, which I hated, and liked, but ME3 does not dissever that, because this is so much bigger, than KOTOR2 and this is the future of the many cycles/future of ME universe.

Even if the endings are literal, destroy would really be the only way to go if they wanted to make a sequel, since that's the only way the galaxy keeps its potential for conflict.

You know, the IT reminds me a lot of a "star trek: Deep Space 9" episode I once watched...

It actually reminds me of a Farscape episode, which is why I thought it was funny one of the people in the original thread who thought there was no chance of this whatsoever had a Farscape avatar.

Not necessarily. They could have the Reapers/Synthetics going rogue in Control and starting the cycles over again. As for Synthesis, I find it hard to believe that just because everyone is partly synthetic and shares DNA somehow that it gets rid of the potential, or desire, for conflict. But yeah I agree that out of the endings now destroy would probably be the one they would choose to go with, no matter how much that love their beloved synthesis ending.

It would be boring as hell to have another trilogy with the exact same storyline. That's why I think canonizing control being a bad idea.

I like to say that in Project Overlord the green mechs remind me of an ending, that as a S in it.

Which one? Off the top of my head, I'm thinking Crichton back at earth, when in fact in a scarren dungeon.

Farscape. Now that... was a series. I've seen Garrus likened to D'Argo...

Synthesis.

www.youtube.com/watch

In the intro it shows mechs being turned on by a green light that covers the whole body, and it's even seen in the eyes of the mechs.

Here is the one about the geth in Overlord.

Reminds me of Synthesis at the end.
