Revealing IT at a crummy VGA award show would cheapen the impact of the reveal. Content should speak for itself, after all.

I wasnt expecting an IT reveal, but I was at least expecting some sort of announcement from BioWare.

But they did, you know, they purposely repeated Harbies line that they have returned :P

Funny that they used a line from Harby even though they eliminated him almost entirely from ME3...

And he was mentioned in Leviathan and had a MP update centered around teh forces he controlled where he made an appereance. I mean it is almost like he is some kind of important Reaper :P

And his codex entry talks about how he's the oldest and largest reaper. And the rannoch reaper says that Harbinger speaks of Shepard. That one line says volumes about the reapers and Harbinger specifically.

Ha! Nice. That texture looks a lot like the kid's "Dreamlite" texture too. Hey, I love how in the french version of ME3, Joker talks about the rachni's sour yellow note by saying he hopes the reapers don't sing a green or blue note...

Goodnight IT thread.

Such as, IT is true? I'd rather they just dangle more hints for us to find.

Imagine at a future date that when the player approaches the power conduit (control) that Harbinger yells out:

Struggle if you wish, your mind will be mine.

Nah, that's too obvious.

30 new pages while I was sleeping.
Has something been revealed at the VGA's?
Also, you may vote on your preferred version of IT/WNT or whatever.

I'm guessing from the general reaction in the last couple of pages that they accepted the award they only got because it's been such a mediocre year, shouted 'suck it haters' and then legged it?

No idea.  But the event was so obviously stacked that its unreal.

Get this.  Game of the Year?  The Waking Dead.  An RPG.

Not even nominated for best RPG.

Logic, there is none here.

C. Full blown hallucination starts at the mako crash, stargazer is real and says what he knows about what happened many years ago. May have sanitized it for the mutant child.

I had difficulty voting because I didn't care for any of the nominees in several categories. ME3 wasn't even nominated for soundtrack.

Did Hale at least win female performance?

I'm torn between A, C, H and J.

Learning more towards A and H, though.

Good thing I always make the right choices, sometimes it's destroying Reapers, sometimes it's going to sleep instead of watching VGAs

My favorite part was the LOL selection for game of the decade.  There were 3 TES games in the past 10 years, and none of them even make nomination?  Is it even physically possible to take these awards seriously?

I spent 2 hours watching that crap.

Bioware had a chance and they cocked it up. The whole awards were a bag of flaming dog **** and the only good bit about last night was talking about the bull**** on this thread.

Samuel L Jackson was pretty fun, as always.  But yeah, the awards were kinds of bad I lack the words to properly mock.  And watching it on streaming repeated the same 5 commercials over and over like some kind of Chinese water torture.

To be fair, as it has been mentioned a couple of times already:
Who expected an outright reveal on the VGA?
An announcement that there is going to be more content - maybe. But we already know that there is at least one additional SP DLC coming (with nine writers and most of the composers). So, it wouldn't have been anything new to us.
Though BW has had its issues with the truth in the last months, I still think that their declaration that they want to let the content speak for itself is actually what they are going to do and what they should do.

Game of the Decade should be reserved for... get this, this is genius...

The end of the Decade.  You take all ten game of the years, and find out which is best!  Amazing!

That awards show is...  Just...  Sigh.

The only thing that makes me think they might make a reveal outside of game content is that if new content is all post-breath scene then how do you market it without a reveal?  "Mystery DLC!  $10 $15 $20!  Buy it, we promise it won't suck but we won't tell you anything about it.  At all.  Not even the system requirements."
