Is there any news on any upcoming DLC?
Not as far as I know. Though Mike Gamble did mention learning a few things from Firewalker. That could imply vehicle sequences. Maybe. Heck if I know.
(bows down and prays to the Nerd Gods) Please let it be a pilotable Normandy!

That would be awesome, though in many ways I would prefer some kind of sequence with an improved Hammerhead or Mako. Maybe a race to a location in a Mako that doesn't handle like a drunken rhino. It would be a nice call back to ME1.
Edit: The race part. The not handling like a druken rhino part is not a call back. It's an improvement.

Or get someone else to drive it, and Shepard can man the turret. Thus its a turret stage, but mobile and awesome.

If that happened then I would probably let out a man - squee loud enough to set dogs barking in a 5 mile radius.
For a game series that so obviously pays homage to Star Trek, Battlestar et al, the ability to control the flight of the Normandy itself, and fight enemy ships directly, is conspicuously absent.

Would you take the liberty to respond to like an adult, if I said I was sorry and I didn't mean to come across to rude? It's extremely offensive and rude of you to respond to my message that I left of, and just neglect it and act as if it was an troll-post, when I put alot of empthasize and tried to form a sparkling discussion that would hopefuly not derail into a nonsentical debate where I would continously bash the Indoctrion Theory. Like I've said, I was indeed an avid-fan of the theory in general (A few months back), I just lose hope and moved on. I would just genuially like to hear what people still makes it an valid theory that it's likely to go down that route.
That's all, it's not to much to ask for an opinion on that, I don't see the harm in it?

I might have come across the wrong way in the post, it was not my intention. But like I've said in the upper message- I'd just like to hear the honest opinion from an existing IT theorist so to say to just explain the thought process behind the implementation of a post-ending DLC #2. I won't respond to it, but I would read it however just to get an idea from some people. That, I give you my word on. Me not responding would just prevent any means of "bashing", eventho that's not my intention at heart to it, of the Indoctrination Theory. You'd have your say, and I would have gotten insight on the matter at hand.
I know it might be foolish of me to continously post and try to reach out, but it's not really that much fun, when you're being made a fool of, when you ones intention was never to come across as one. Call it bad phrasing, but it's close to bullying at this point- eventho I don't take that stuff over the internet all to seriousness in the first place, it's the matter of being neglected and ignored based on just simple mistakes.

Probably won't be closed. There isn't really any reason to, unlike the first two.Dwailing wrote...

The reason we still believe the IT is that we have no reason not to. BioWare added a couple of things in the EC that still suggest that something weird is going on (like the sound from Leviathan that played when Shepard was flashing between enthrallment land and the real world being played right when Shepard "wakes up" on the Citadel, or the scene with the Normandy evac where Harbinger seems to completely ignore the opportunity to take out the Normandy even though it's right in front of him), and they continue to state that the IT is just as valid as a literal interpretation of the endings. Until they tell us that it's not valid, we will continue speculating.

Thing is, Chris closed both threads due to length. And since we've beaten the first two for length...

The second one seemed pretty civil. I think the reason Chris gave for locking it was because it was so long it had become hard for new people to navigate it - which I though was an odd reason as there was a good summary on page 1.

I though the reason for Mark III still going was that Chris was on vacation?

I believe this is the reason we're still open. When he's no longer on vacation, though...

So, we've got until the beginning of January to break the 3000 page barrier? Sounds like a challenge! (rolls up sleeves)

Yeah and we're way beyond people in general being new to the idea. I don't think mk3 needs to be closed, but I'm not Priestley so whatever.CoolioThane wrote...
I think the reasoning was "the longer the thread, the more intimidating it might appear to people new to the idea"
My main problem is how the topic of when the thread will be locked keeps coming up and it's so very pointless.
