The off topic BS really needs to stop. Chris came in to tell us to get back on topic and we stopped the BS for what? Half a page? It is pretty obvious that we have nothing to speculate on so why does everyone feel the need to keep posting so that the page count goes up? Quality comes over quantity and right now it seems that everyone is shooting for quantity. If there is nothing to speculate on then keep looking until you find something new. The time spent with the useless posts could easily be spent searching through the games like I have, I am not saying that you will find anything new, because I haven't, but time spent on off-topicness is wasteful. Again, if there is nothing worthy of posting don't post at all.
You want speculation? You got it.
Let's begin from the beginning.
Mass Effect 1.
You hear whispers in the scene discussing the Prothean visions with Anderson and Chakwas.
What's say we have a closer look at that Prothean vision in fact.
Amongst other things, I recognize what could perhaps be a Reaper face mixed in with alot of trippy and disturbing images, mostly focused on lots of merged synth-organics.
Saren himself, his constant comments about the nature of Synthesis. Also, do we have a timeline for when he was implanted? The reasons? Does anyone know when his arm was replaced with a Geth arm?
Saren also has his body break down after he commits suicide/gets killed by you, revealing his synthetic parts, his flesh burning away, it seems. Thoughts on the significance of this?
ME2, can we determine precisely what parts of Shepard are synthetic?
The Arrival, let's have a closer look at Dr.Kenson's actions. She seems to go insane after Shepard spends 2 days on a slab, anyone know why she degraded that quickly? Before she seemed rather canny. Also, why was it Harbinger could speak through her, with no apparent physical augmentation? Or for that matter, release control without her dying?
ME3, the game opens on a skewed veiw of reality, focusing in on the Ship the kid is holding, making us think it's real, much like the trailer, but why then, show a different kid? Thoughts?
If not indoctrination, or hallucination of some form, what then is the point of all the comments we receive questioning the reality of a situation?
Shepard also comments on Chronus Station that he could be a hyper-intelligent VI that thinks it's commander Shepard, much like the VI of Shepard we can see and talk to. Perhaps this also brings connections to President Huerta?
What is the significance of adding the Three Husketeers to the Beam shuffle if the game is set to Insanity?
Discuss.
Anything relating to indoctrination from the past 2 games should be taken wholely. Anything relating to ENDINGS from the past 2 games should be taken with a grain of salt because Bioware apparently changed their ending since.
For Saren's parts, it would seem that he was just augmented in a similar way to Shepard, Shepard really has no idea how much tech is in him/her and how much of it is reaper tech.
It was said in the codex that reaper indoctrination can cause fast decay, such was the case with Dr. Kenson. This would lead me to believe that object Rho maybe went into a rapid indoctrination mode. This being the case, how was Shepard so resilient to this?
In the ME3 trailer it was implied that the girl was killed. I will call BS on Bioware saying the ventboy is representative of the people Shepard couldn't save. I say this because if Bioware wanted us to feel bad about a kid being killed, why not use the girl from the trailer? We would have already had a small connection to that girl and seeing her die would have meant a lot more than ventboy. If Bioware's intention was to generate a emotional response they should have used the trailer girl.
To me it is plain that Shepard is not an advanced VI that thinks it's Shepard. No matter what kind of data transfer Cerberus had, I don't see it as feasible for all of the info in Shepards brain to be transfered in a VI. However, Shepard did forget a few things that were odd but I think that a VI Shepard would be too much of a unviable plot twist to actually happen. Shepard should also be a bit better in fights if he/she was an AI/VI because of auto targeting and such.
I have only played on insanity but I am assuming that the three huskiteers aren't there on other difficulties? I would hesitate to be conclusive on anything that changes based on game diffuculty but if I had to speculate I would say that it may have been a few soldiers who got to the beam. Why they wouldn't be there on other difficulties is beyond me. It hardly made that scene harder.
Edit: Arian, it takes a long time to speculate on all of this you have provided, you bearly gave me enough time! But yeah, it is like I said, your post seems to have gotten overlooked.
