You know, playing Far Cry 3 there was a mission that reminded me a lot of IT.
Spoilers for Far Cry 3  in link
youtu.be/CvJfeRDTkec

Basically the protagonist has to find and kill this sadistic mad man Vaas (who is the main antagonist, leader of the pirates and brother to the leader of your allies Citra). There is a mission that is a massive fight and, eventually you see him only to be "one-shotted" and then go into a dream-scape. But, while in the dreamscape I think reality and the dream mix together in a creepy blend.

IDK, I just wanted to share it. Good game and made me think.

What is it about the human condition that means you see someone, become infatuated and you find yourself drifting off thinking about them almost constantly? It's sooo counter-productive.

Yeah, believe me, I know. It's great but horribly annoying at the same time.

That Yahg/Turian actually looks badass.

Thanks.

@MB Yeah, it wouldn't be too out of place because he's the only other person we've played as in ME.

Having him save the day again would be pretty beastily.

I also want a Badasses Assemble moment where the entire crew show up and fight.  A full on platoon of hardcore killing machines.

And Jacob.

@Pax I called it the Turiyahg. Posted Image

I was gonna call it the Yaghrian before I checked the filename and saw you'd already named it. ;)

I just liked how the "y" sound in turian could be used as the "y" sound of Yahg when you combine them. It's more fluid. Posted Image

Thats the thing though. Something like that shouldnt have a fluid name.

Byne I always found it funny that the driver never saw what was in front of him right. Did he, or she look at the beam the whole time. Also Harbinger came from above right. Shepard was just right below Harbinger, and Harby had a chance to shoot the Transportation, but didn't.

Time to through in random quotes from my Wall to entice discussion.

Speculation = feedback which = content they can put into the game.

BioWare pride themselves so heavily on fan feedback and interaction. It only makes sense they left the game wide open like this so they could incorporate feedback.

My thoughts: Not enough development time could also be a factor with the ending here. They couldn't get enough of an extension, so they cheated and will use DLC.

Guys I Hear voices in the Normandy pick up scene.

Guys Harbinger stops attacking Shepard. You don't hear any of his lasers firing at all, and a Mako stops to cover Shepard, and does not get hit until they charge foward.

But leaving the ending of a game up to the fans? Doubt they'd do that

Yknow, I'm playing ME3 right now, and I just got the transmission from Hackett telling me to go to Mars, and I noticed something I remember we talked about a long time ago: in his transmission, his scar is on the wrong side. I still dont know what to make of that. Seems like an odd mistake for them to make.

No mistake. The whole image is mirrored!
Take a look at this uniform and compare it to other instances, where the image is not mirrored.

Not so much up to the fans, as basing it on what they want. I think their original intention was for people to understand IT is what the game is, then all talk/complain about what the ending should be/have been.

I'm sure they've very well aware of exactly what fans want now, which hopefully means a very well put together proper epilogue.

They didn't leave the ending concept up to fans, just certain aspects of it. I mean they used us to get ideas. Like playing as Joker in the Normandy.

Edit: Blur maybe we shouldn't bother having 2 accounts? Lol.

So, when did BW ask EA for more production time?
Was it in November 2011?
Shouldn't the ending be done by then?

I voted for "K".

On another note, does anyone else find embedded pics like that annoying? Because I have to right click, go to "Properties", highlight and copy the URL, then paste it in a new tab. Posted Image

He also does the Horror Face, like when EDI tells that joke.
