As far as I can tell Estebanus just doesn't like people declaring themselves right instead of trying to push their own view.

Kinda. I don't really like most of the new "evidence" put forward, just because it seems a lot like grasping at straws to me. All the good parts have long gone. And sometimes, I think a few ITers really seem like arrogant asses to me.

I guess you could say that I love the interpretation and what it is about, but it's changed too much for me since the pre-EC days. Too much unfounded speculations declared as absolutely right without investigating it further and too little real deep discussion going on. Too many people denounce other people coming in here disagreeing with them as trolls.

What's up? Yeah, I've always been quietly (loudly) confident IT will be revealed at some stage :)

It's a sad downside to having an active thread months after the main core was formed. I have to admit some people on both sides of the fence have started to get on my nerves too, but when no ones being rude I generally try to avoid confronting them on it.

True, I found it hard to navigate through this thread actually. The one place I find that's actually catalogued IT's content (meindoctrination blog) hasn't been updated post-EC.

Still, I feel the need to keep supporting this theories or whatever else is available out there (koobismo's comes to mind), just in case BW decide to further expand this ME universe and actually hit an impasse while doing it. It happened before with Bobba Fett I believe, the canonization of a non canon alternate story.

Read now the posts about the IT being a theory and the gravity thing
....I truly don't understand this blind faith you have in BW, i am an ITer but i don't trust BW this much, because now what we have is a crappy ending and it will be this way until IT is confirmed
Sure they can be good writers....but at the moment they can be bad writers too
What i mean, we can talk about what a fantastic game ME3 is and what a great SH is BW AFTER IT becomes literal
Now,,,,it's better be careful

We keep discussing making a wiki but nothing ever happens.

I've said this so many times that I'm sounding like a parrot.

But people are still saying how Bioware 'made their stance clear' on the endings, ignoring the fact they've outright lied (for a good reason or not) on dozens of occasions already.

Why do people only beleive what they want to believe?

And they've never had a clear stance except wanting speculations.

And money.

And as highly as I think of Bioware, Casey Hudson is still rather pretentious.  And Omega was still overpriced and overhyped.

Oh definately. Most of the marketing lies came from him, kinda reminds me of Molyneaux. It's still odd that he's been virtually unseen since March when you couldn't shut him up before.

Well he seems to be busy, according to his twitter

"Can't... Stop... Working! Having way too much fun at this tonight."

"Every once in a while, game development is as fun as it's supposed to be."

At least he's tweeting again. He pretty much ceased to exist for a few months after release.

Except lacking in the previous glory.  Hense why everyone hated him, and he was probably hiding for months to avoid the death threats.  Molyneaux is just a running joke now of someone who used to matter and can't stop lying to cover up the fact he's yesterday's man.

I just watched StarTrek Into Darkness trailer, goddawmn it looks promising.
Then I began to think, if ME universe has been hailed as a StarTrek of this generation, what they did to the ending looks like BW commited a suicide on this franchise before the competition even have a chance to revive its former glory.

Or perhaps... this is too crazy to be true... the original ideas were bought by paramount pictures for future Startrek franchise use. Afterall, Casey Hudson face looks like Quinto's spock (crazy, I know).

It also appears that he must be indie. He left Bullfrog in it's prime to form Lionhead and now he's quit Lionhead to join a friends indie company.

I have a massive downer on the new Star Trek.  The last movie was horrible, and I just can't stand the guy who plays Kirk - or whoever wrote his script.  Because damn, he couldn't be more obnoxious or douchey if he tried.

People say the original Kirk was the same - no.  He was confident and forward.  This new one is like a bratty teenager with a bad attitude.  And he still gets his own ship over the far more experienced Spock - all because Kirk goaded him into getting angry after he watched his entire planet and mother die mere hours before.

You can't be more of a ****** then that.

Eh, I liked the reboot but it's not one of my favourite Trek films.

I know I've written this before, but it's my experience that it's just this idea of authority that brings people back to believing what BW says.
Bioware says something, people believe it. Then fans start discussing those words, looking more carefully into them and notice that they don't add up. These fans convince other fans and they agree that BW couldn't have told the truth. Then BW says something again and latter fans can't help but again blindly believe what BW said this time, no matter what they've been discussing prior to that.
It's the power of authority. I think it's a residual of why kids have to be told explicitly over and over again not to follow the stranger into their grey van, even if promised candy.

Same here.
But I'm probably one of those weird Star Trek fans...one of my favorite ST movies is...

Insurrection.

I liked it right up until Kirk was introduced.

As a boy stealing and destroying his stepfather's car for no reason other then to be a douche.  Set up the entire movie.

Also, the Romulan ship was...  Well.  Dumb.  I get that it was a mining vessel, but it looked nothing like a practical vessel.  And apperently you have to read the comic (or something) to find out it was actually augmented with Borg technology.  Which is just stupid on multiple levels.

...gah.  Why couldn't they make a Deep Space Nine movie, or keep making Enterprise (cancelling it after it started finally getting good - screw whoever made that call yet continued the pain of Voyager for 7 whole years).

*slap* Blasphemer!

I'm kidding. It's probably my least favourite, but I don't actually dislike any Trek films. I go from loving them to merely enjoying them. Even the worst ones have good ideas, there's no complete failures like Gigli and such.
