Insurrection.

...well, its not the worst.  But its got the most 'villian of the week' TV plot out of all the movies.

At least they tried something new.  Even if it didn't work very well.

My favourite is still First Contact, even if its riff with silliness.  Visually it was beyond stunning - I still can't believe the movie was released in 1996.

As a boy stealing and destroying his stepfather's car for no reason other then to be a douche.  Set up the entire movie.

Also, the Romulan ship was...  Well.  Dumb.  I get that it was a mining vessel, but it looked nothing like a practical vessel.  And apperently you have to read the comic (or something) to find out it was actually augmented with Borg technology.  Which is just stupid on multiple levels.

Yeah, the film is actually improved by the comic tie in and deleted scenes, instead of them being bonuses. In a scene that was deleted for pacing but is actually important it shows the car was actually the dads and the step dad was making the kids wash it so he could sell it. The kid he passes in the stealing scene is his brother that ran away from home because the stepdad was such a dick.

I hate movie makers for doing **** like that.  That would have made a lot more sense in context.

That does make me think though. Maybe Bioware are pulling the same trick, and deleted certain scenes that would change the context of what happened?

I know that's what people say the Extended Cut was - but it blatantly wasn't, that was a rewrite. A "Mass Effect: The Deleted Scenes" DLC would be...pretty epic.

And the endings wouldn't need changing at all. They can have an open-ended ending just like Spec Ops: The Line, and we can maybe find out what happened in ME4.

Oh, and any votes for having Joker as the new protagonist, hunting down Shepard and company (who are all indoctrinated)? He can use the Normandy and a modified Atlas suit, and it can be a Mechwarrior style mech game!

I...don't think so?  I mean like Mechwarrior, shooting and stomping over things in a massive armoured killing machine.

Don't ruin this for me!

And the "Deleted Scenes" equivalent in gamings are, deleted mission!

Plus, they should totaly make the ending open ended. Somewhere along the line of extragalactic space exploration (reapers homeworld anyone?), using some tachyon-warp technobabble (that was in star trek right?)

and what the devil!!!
does tachyon model reminds you of something?

I don't think the Reaper's have a homeworld. Unless you mean the Leviathan homeworld?

I like to think Desponia is the Leviathan homeworld, and we've already been there.

Looks like we're gonna have to reverse the polarity of the neutron flow.

xD

No but I do think that for ME3 they could go all the way and give the player control over the Normandy. Just like they allowed the player to finally visit Earth.

Remodulate the charge emiters on a rotating frequency and fire the Quark Phase Torpedos!

I love Joker, I just don't want him hunting down other characters in a robot suit.

I prefer him as a supporting character.

Kinda. I don't really like most of the new "evidence" put forward, just because it seems a lot like grasping at straws to me. All the good parts have long gone. And sometimes, I think a few ITers really seem like arrogant asses to me.

I guess you could say that I love the interpretation and what it is about, but it's changed too much for me since the pre-EC days. Too much unfounded speculations declared as absolutely right without investigating it further and too little real deep discussion going on. Too many people denounce other people coming in here disagreeing with them as trolls.

Deal with it. You pick any controversial topic and find the people that are passionate about it and you'll find a lot of them look down on the other side. The problem is you for expecting some special utopia. Deal. With. It.

Pish.  I'd love to have a robot suit so I could hunt down my friends.  Kids these days!

Like if eezo is actually neutrinos (zero neutron), the reversal in polarity resulting in negative mass generating tachyon field allowing quantum teleportation possible. If there were spock in ME Universe, he'd say, "of course! the crucible was never a weapon, it serves as a battery powering the citadel, that is a giant mass relays, allowing reapers to travel out and into the dark space!"

Actually, we have one person figured this out and thats Dr. T'soni, she said something similar along this line "With enough power, mass effect thingy will allow us to travel into a place where 1+1=3".

New theories anyone? :o
