As far as I can tell Estebanus just doesn't like people declaring themselves right instead of trying to push their own view.

Kinda. I don't really like most of the new "evidence" put forward, just because it seems a lot like grasping at straws to me. All the good parts have long gone. And sometimes, I think a few ITers really seem like arrogant asses to me.

I guess you could say that I love the interpretation and what it is about, but it's changed too much for me since the pre-EC days. Too much unfounded speculations declared as absolutely right without investigating it further and too little real deep discussion going on. Too many people denounce other people coming in here disagreeing with them as trolls.

Deal with it. You pick any controversial topic and find the people that are passionate about it and you'll find a lot of them look down on the other side. The problem is you for expecting some special utopia. Deal. With. It.

Pish.  I'd love to have a robot suit so I could hunt down my friends.  Kids these days!

I'll have you know I'm 20 and am firmly against legalising hunting the most dangerous game.

Nope.  She was never a preachy pain in the ass.  She was great.

Wippersnapper!

But yeah, I'm not being serious.  At all.  In the slightest.

Joker is obviously hunting Reapers in his Atlas.  Blatantly.

I just watched StarTrek Into Darkness trailer, goddawmn it looks promising.
Then I began to think, if ME universe has been hailed as a StarTrek of this generation, what they did to the ending looks like BW commited a suicide on this franchise before the competition even have a chance to revive its former glory.

Or perhaps... this is too crazy to be true... the original ideas were bought by paramount pictures for future Startrek franchise use. Afterall, Casey Hudson face looks like Quinto's spock (crazy, I know).

Star Trek tried to commit suicide with Voyager and then Enterprise. There is just too much stupidity in these shows.

Oh, and any votes for having Joker as the new protagonist, hunting down Shepard and company (who are all indoctrinated)? He can use the Normandy and a modified Atlas suit, and it can be a Mechwarrior style mech game!

OHGODNO.

I have nothing against a gameplay sequence with Joker piloting the Normandy, but I have very strong objections against him using the atlas simply because first of all: The alliance doesn't have any, and second of all: There's none on the Normandy, and third of all: It's a damn atlas. The cockpit is too small for someone like Joker. He'd most likely break a rib when getting shot at by a ravager.

There's no need for hostility, rifneno. I was just voicing my opinion.

That does make me think though. Maybe Bioware are pulling the same trick, and deleted certain scenes that would change the context of what happened?

I know that's what people say the Extended Cut was - but it blatantly wasn't, that was a rewrite. A "Mass Effect: The Deleted Scenes" DLC would be...pretty epic.

And the endings wouldn't need changing at all. They can have an open-ended ending just like Spec Ops: The Line, and we can maybe find out what happened in ME4.

I don´t know why but i feel they would do the deleted scenes as a comic and not as DLC

Except that making DLC costs craploads of money, especially if it'd be something big like the IT DLC. You can bet your ass neither EA nor BioWare would want to lose another penny after the EC.

If I were an optimist I'd say the MP transactions would help pay for it.

And are you one?

BioWare wants to make money, not not win anything or lose money after making a game.

I'm more of a realist in most cases. I understand what you mean, I just hope they are looking at the long-term here. Because not even ME fans are looking forward to frakking ME4. That should tell them something.

Really late reply, but I'll give you my theory:
Omega's sky-high price was the mean to collect money (along with MP transitions) for the last free DLC, the Reveal one.

I don't have any experience in marketing, it's only a feeling. :D

Uwe could write a better ending than Casey's
one that involve knight and dragon.

but i haven´t downloaded Omega... does that mean if we dont get free DLC it´s my fault:crying:

but seriously speaking the price could also be to compensate for the money spent on doing EC

Could be! The next "Citadel" DLC might not be free, but a Reveal one (or expansion pack) better be.

And the scene will be shot in a poorly lit warehouse, and we'll throw in flashbangs to have the action pop out at the camera in spontaneous bursts of excitement!

YES!  Done.  Movie sold.  Get on this, Boll.
