How long did it take Omega to go from QA untill release? Leviathan?
Depends on the length of the DLC I'd imagine...not that it always necessarily works (cough, Aria speech, cough)
I'd imagine they'd spend quite a lot of time on this QA if y'know what I mean

Footsteps in the cabin are my favourite. I wonder if they're the result of something odd on the ship or if Shepard's hearing things when it's quiet.demersel wrote...
OK, there ARE some weird noises on the normandy - like faint maniacal laughter and such.

One that caught my attention just now is this part:
"a finger of red light extends from the eye and engulfs you, and all goes black again"
If it's a reaper, it's a proof that its hydromagnetic cannon can be used as other than a weapon.

Wow, footsteps in the cabin are REALLY in your face - they are almost impossible to miss! Clicks great with Shepard's animation of looking around suspicioulsy.

Hey nice to see most of you guys are still here. I'm doing alright, been busy with the family. I haven't had a chance to see what's new so my opinion hasn't changed much. Is there anything in particular that I should know?
For example, Bioware is working on a DLC that involves all writers and as soundtrack composer Sam Hulick himself. No other ME DLC (except for the EC) enjoyed so much looking-after.
"Ah, Yes" I did read about this. Sam said the music will be a tear jerker. I'll admit it's fishy but I can't say for sure until I get details.

It is one thing to read and know about them - it is another to actually hear them for yourself. And yes, I'm late to the party.

Is that the pyramid vision from 1? That's always been interesting, it may be protheans or reapers studying early humans, but whichever it is, it certainly looks like a reaper kills them at the end.
Yeah, it kills the cro-magnon in the end. I made a false assumption.

Well, so much for leaving the younger races alone.

Hey this guy posted something interesting.

One that caught my attention just now is this part:
"a finger of red light extends from the eye and engulfs you, and all goes black again"
If it's a reaper, it's a proof that its hydromagnetic cannon can be used as other than a weapon.
Indeed. The 'eye beam' is very Reaperish, and its even Red.
It can't be the Leviathans though, or at least its unlikely. Has to be the Reapers themselves. A billion years ago Humans didn't even exist - neither did Mammals at all! The Leviathans wouldn't be able to risk themselves studying humans after being slaughtered, and indeed they seem completely disinterested in lesser species.
'The air grows colder, winter falls. You must range farther for food,
clutching the furs tight against you to ward off the chill. It is on
one of these long hunts that the strange bird returns. You hear it
before you see it, its call a deafening roar as it descends from above,
swooping down on you. A single great eye opens on the underbelly, a
glowing red orb. You try to run, but a finger of red light extends from
the eye and engulfs you, and all goes black again.
'
Tut tut, Reapers. Killing non-advanced lifeforms?
Only problem is its described as being silver. We've not seen any silver Reapers yet. But neither are Leviathans.
Also. http://images4.wikia...llustration.png
That's on the Wiki, in the Leviathan section. Its speculation to assume that's a Leviathan and not a Reaper. How could a picture of a Leviathan last a billion years? Why is it red and not grey/black?

I also feel fairly certain they would have been quite able to tell the difference between two very much different "birds", so one might also for that reason assume it was not, say, the Protheans first time around and a Reaper the second -- maybe it would be harder to distinguish between a Leviathan and a Reaper, half seen among the clouds..(?)
Either way, the technology did seem Prothean, didn't it? ...and they did study us.
EDIT2: I suppose the occuli could be repurposed Prothean research drones (...or maybe they even had an assortment of configurations) and we got one visit from each kind - that would make them look alike (EDIT3: ...even is one was sent out by the Protheans and the other by the Collectors). Either way, the recording was stored and locked.

Possibily. Though they don't have klaxons, do they?
Maybe it was an earlier form of Harvester? They do look like birds, and have cannons on their chests.
