Loka I am not leaveing, I am only becoming a lurker, and the only reason why people like me is because i make funny post/ making fun of my grammer/spelling, but that's mine to blame.

Also I have saused people so much head acks and getting angry at each other because of my random post that I do once and a while.

But I only do it because everyone else does, so why can't I.

1. The blast from Harbinger might throw Shepard back (although it's unclear how, since it's more of a "disintegrate things" laser.) but not at an angle that would make Shepard land like he is in the breath scene without him first banging something pretty hard.

2. There's a lot of evidence to point towards the dream beginning at the MAKO crash, if not earlier. For instance, the while halo, which is only used for transistions in dreams, appears right after Harbinger shoots Shepard.

Byne when ever I do Estebanus is on my case and so are the others. TSA, Either,Rflneno,and a few more others. I can't even get off topic unless they are not around. But it's okay for them to.

They only on your spelling mostly. I dont think they really care if you're off topic too much.

You do have a lot of good ideas Blaster, and I wish that you would stay and post when you have something to say, but I suppose it's your choice.

Masster, you are making too much of a deal about this. If you do go lurking, go and do it. Don't continue the offtopicness talking about leaving. If you do decide to stay and discuss, then please proceed to a more on topic discussion. I personally don't want you to leave. I have never made a big deal about your writing skills. I believe I did once but it was as a joke. Doesn't make it right though. Since then I have only discussed positively with you. If you left I would be disappointed but I understand. No one deserves to get BS on a daily basis. You or BioWare.

That was my problem, too. But if the hallucination does start at that, it'd still knock Shepard back instead of disintigrating her because she's obviously not a pile of ash in the breath scene. Your second point is, of course, very viable, but if it starts at the Mako crash, why does the halo-like transition only appear after Harby shoots Shepard instead of before? I think I may have missed part of that theory so that's an honest question, not a critisism.
Byne made a great point about the rubble, too, so that would support it. I have to admit, I like the idea of that even more with the added Normandy scene - Shepard saying goodbye in his/her mind to those that stood with him/her in the end.

I don't think anyone's really "on your case." The only time anyone coments on your grammar/spelling is when it is completely illegible, which is reasonable; if you can't understand a statement, you can't respond.

The problem right now is waiting for Leviathan. I get the feeling many people don't want to speculate too much at the moment out of fear that it will just get proven wrong by the end of the month.

I, for one, will work on compiling evidence and info on IT and the associated interpretations and theories to put into a primer. Not only would such a text help out newcomers, we might be able to find some new connections and perspective.

Some speculation for everyone. This goes back to the whole Crucible is a trap concept but gives a new take on what "the Catalyst" is.

What if the Reapers deliberately designed the Crucible to augment some component of the Citadel? They would leave past civilizations intact so that, when they invaded, intelligent life would attempt to use the Crucible to save themselves. The thing is, the Crucible is just an extension of the Citadel for some hidden reason. The Reapers true purpose is to build something with the Citadel, but they need intelligent life of variable DNA to make it work. Thus far, no species has been a successful ingredient...until humans came along.

The hypothesis here is that the Catalyst for the Crucible is not the Citadel nor a strange glowing child hologram AI, but rather ***a species***. I'm thinking that the Catalyst just may be humanity.

So, what do you all think about this?

Just reposting this because I think it got overlooked earlier.  I know that some have suggested that Shepard is the Catalyst, but the main idea of this post is to illustrate that HUMANITY might be the Catalyst

Archer was dead on, between the off-topic banter and the snarky attitudes, one has to dig deep to find the speculations around here. For a casual reader, you have to wade through five pages of crap for every nugget of good stuff and even most of the good stuff has been discussed ad nauseum before. 

I know some of you guys read this thread every day but not every poster does and a little more respect for the casual observer might go a long way in getting positive recognition of the theory. Otherwise you'll keep getting those stupid trolls and flame bait posts from everyone that thinks ITists are loonies (well, you'll stilll get those but it wouldn't hurt to get less of them).

Not to crush your plan, but I believe such document you speak of is almost done being created. I would know. I worked partially on it. It is really in depth in detail and pretty impressive. It potentially could be the very IT Codex we have been waiting for. :happy:

Sort of off topic: So, I exited to the Campaign Discussion page and decide to go ahead and count how many IT-hate/ridicule comments I could find on the first pages of threads of the front discussion page. It wasn't pretty: 1-2 full threads making fun of/against IT, and over 75 IT-ridicule comments. Those are just on first pages. Damn, are we hated.

Nice. I wasn't sure if anyone had actually gotten on that task yet, so I must have missed that part of the thread. I might write something anyways just to help organize my own thoughts.

I think the most telling experience is when I told one of my RL friends about Chris calling IT a "valid interpretation," he replied:

"That...hurts."

He had given up all hope for IT after the EC came out and was afraid of getting his hopes up once again.

I feel from many of the anti-IT comments I see that many others feel the same way, and I think they just are dealing with it in a slightly unhealthy way. No reason to take it personally.

Hell, on most of the threads, no one even mentioned IT until one guy uses it to make fun of something/someone else. Then everyone just jumps on the bandwagon, making fun of us.

And Hroth, I wasn't taking it personally, just being disappointed in BSNers.

Ive always been wondering why Anderson (when hes talking to TIM while under his control) looks at YOU and says "there controling YOU!".

He does not look at TIM when he says this(go and look, he doesnt), he looks at the camera (player) and says it and puts more on the word "you".
