Who said Omega wouldn't spark more speculation?

I must have missed it. What speculation did Omega spark?

Ok - I replayed it - same result - no EDI's line about confirming that this is the real world. No Joker's line about how it is good we have an unshacled AI to tell us what is real.

I'm REALLY scared.

Javik has some interesting mail from the datapad app.

Foolish. You allowed a machine access to your mind? What if it infected you?

The other species are too optimistic. Reapers can't be wished away. Hope did not save my people.

Let those mutated asari be a warning against failure. The whole galaxy could end the same.

And this one, because it is awesome:

Thresher maws have gotten much bigger. Too big to ride now. A shame.

We'll have Krogan's riding kakliosaurus in the future, don't worry.

I remember I brought EDI there but then I realize I never finish that mission with her. (I change her with Liara so I get Tali giving her blessing thingy...)

Also in that mission when I brought Tali and Liara, EDI will make a witty remark when Tali and Liara were discussing their sexperience with mr commander. To me, it only means that EDI has always keeping tab on Shepard and his/her crew no matter when and where, a bit excessive I say.

And why EDI don't give confirmation when she came ashore in that mission, did she know something we're not. Its not the first time she witheld information on purpose. EDI you bad girl you.

I think I heard someone else mention that a while back (might've been Bill).

Could easily be a bug though.

if the citadel is of alien construction, then why does the central chamber where shep meets anderson and tim have human lettering on the supports?

Why does shepard 'reboot' only when anderson talks to him after he lands on the citadel?

Why was Coates on the citadel? Why was he hidden from our view?

Why does star brat speak with both shepards's voices - one in each channel?

why didnt harbinger blow the normandy out of the sky when it had clear line of sight?

in the original endings... if you got sheps breath scene, you heard indoctrination voices right up till he took his breath? why remove them in the EC?

The real question here - why make this particular dialoge differentiate AT ALL?? Regardless of what is the trigger for it.

Maybe they removed this line in Leviathan or in Omega? Is it possible to get now at all?

You do know that this can be only a bug, right?
I don't want to crash the theory about that, but lines come and go after every patch/DCL. And after I saw that glitchy Omega DLC I think it's just a bug and not intended.

One thing I can think of that I haven't tried yet is talking to EDI first...

"And just like that the magic is gone"

"Did you just say what I think you said?"

"No"

I have no idea if that makes a difference...

You just pointed out something I never realized -- the EC adds MUSIC to the breath scene! And it's a coda (a happy happy major chord!) to the victory Mass Effect theme! Ugh, my brains! How did I not notice this? Le original.

So all those arguments about "the breath scene should be removed, bleh bleh blargh, easter egg" are kinda moot, IMO, because they actually accentuated it.

I never heard EDI say anything. She never said anything when Joker said that all of it could be a simulations.
What are you getting at?

Perhaps it was to make the wind less obvious.

And quite tense and oddly cliff-hangerish music at that. Good find.

Why is this still a thing? I'm not attempting to disprove it, I'm actually interested in the evidence that kept this up. I was an avid IT supporter until... well, until the EC (which I enjoyed.)

Because it's still a thing.

I'm not sure how else to answer that.

Mmm.  The noises in the standard one are distant echos of metal flexing or scraping together.  Sounds a lot like the inside of a ship that's hull is being pressed down upon hard by pressure.

This sentece from EDI caught my interest:
"Liara recently requested assistance in calculating whether the mass effect is a phenomenon that occurs only in our universe, or in all possible universes. It maybe that our laws of physics only occur in a finite area, a bubble if you will, in an ocean of other possibilities. I'm speculating whether, if you went far enough out or created enough energy you could reach a place where one plus one equals three, everything would change, all matter, all matter, all the underlying math of the universe will be unrecognizable to us.

does she just foreshadowed a synthesis? and that synthesis, is a parallel universe, which makes more sense than starbrats explanation.

Bonus:
Javik is also suspicious :o

Darn it! Did you read the rest of my post? What evidence is there so that's a still a thing? I want to know, seriously ^_^

I remember that quote too. At the time I thought it was forshadowing how the crucible might work - change the laws of physics to disrupt mass effect fields - leaving the Reapers helpless and to be crushed by their own weight if they happened to be on a planet.
